Guest wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 9:22 pm Isn’t everyone heading to JR A? All this talk about U18. Who cares? JRA is where it’s at and if you are considering JR B or JR C don’t waste your money on an expensive beer league.
The OJ sucks too
So. Are you saying stick to u18 instead of OJHL? My only point is JR B and JR C aren’t worth it. JR A is great hockey.

Easton Cowan played Jr.B like many other OHL players …who is writing this crap …clearly clueless must be from NS
They hate us, cause they ain't us!
Ask any JR B or JR C kid and they will tell you it’s mediocre hockey not competitive and comparable to beer league. It’s basically kids that haven’t given up the sport but essentially aren’t going anywhere. At that point aren’t they best to focus on school and not waste their time playing crap hockey?
Jr A and B are the same. No Jr A in west where Jr B is. But clearly you are a tool. Jr C is beer league.
Oh right AA and AAA are the same too!
What ever you tell yourself to make you feel better about your kid playing JR B. Good night.

Ya play JR A or B and be a healthy scratch and get limited ice. The alternative is play another year at U18 and be a standout, go to the US and play while going to school.

Let’s re visit this again
Maybe 1 possibly 2 can make the jump from U18 to the OHL
That’s it
Sorry to break it to you
99.9% of the kids in Clarington this this weekend at u18 are basically out of luck when it comes to a potential hockey career
At or above the OJ
They would be there already if they even had a remote chance
Stop telling yourself that a reasonable amount of kids from NS and APR and any other kids from the other 6 attending u18 teams will somehow be jumping into lineups they couldn’t make already
Just extending their time at slightly decent hockey before beer league

You have zero clue about what happens after U18 but you follow your own terrible advice

KM? lol . Don’t make it to main camp in his draft year. He’s going to get passed by the 2009s.
