Both of these teams have the biggest bankrolls in minor hockey history so it's no surprise they're there at the end but it's clear one is focused solely on winning and the other might have another agenda.

Has OL been the difference maker? Possibly

Has 86 been invisible through the semifinals and finals? Looking that way

Are 41 and 66 DMF top players but not getting the ice time they deserve. Yes

Is LH a better coach than JE? That will be decided after Friday night and how well DMF adjusts or TT continues to win

Does anyone know who won the Minor Midget playoffs in 2018? No because none of this really matters when looking at the big picture
Toronto Marlboros led by Jamie Drysdale and Will Cuylle amongst others. Went on to lose the OHL Cup.

TT have most definitely not been the best team in the series though. Far from it yet they escaped with two wins so that’d the argument that goes in their favour.

Don Mills has definitely outplayed TT however can’t solve a the goalie.

41 and 66 are not the best players they are simply playing their role very well.

After it’s all said and done this doesn’t even matter
Both teams are strong with strong kids.

Titans rolling two lines. Don Mills 3.

It’s true everyone wants dmf and titans to fail. Come OHL cup they will be the most hated teams.

Leonard is keeping them
In this series for sure.

JE's trap system that’s worked for years only succeeds when the team scores on broken plays and power plays. When those aren’t happening, and the players aren’t willing to get to the dirty areas and compete, it falls apart. In every game DMF has lost this season, the opposing team has limited their mistakes, and the goalie stepped up with key saves. If DMF doesn’t get the first two goals and is forced to chase a lead, they struggle to adapt against well-structured teams. These players aren’t being taught the system of hockey required at the next level, and the DMF families will come to realize this in the years ahead. Add in late season extreme nepotism and you have a recipe for loses in big games.

Let's be real, it was a crappy game to watch. Lot of broken plays and whistles.
The Cup needs Jrc and their high flying offence.

I didn't have to look it up, I watched it...and the OHL Cup too. Can tell you who the coach was too, RP. You're welcome!

The system would work against any other team in North America consistently. TT are a team that was built and paid to knock off DMF in this exact series so it's no surprise it's working but both games have proved these teams are an event match the games could've gone either way to have this series as it is or 2-0 DMF.
