Fact is scouts are not impressed with his unpredictability. They are aware of all the negatives this kid and mother bring and will stay away.
If he does ever play Junior hockey he will become a punching bag no doubt.

I watched it as well, without bias as I did'nt even know what the final call was. I watched it half dozen times with colleagues and when we were all told what the call was we simultaneously spit our coffee out.. sad and pathetic call by that official. This league is getting softer, and more corrupt by the hour. people calling that kid a head hunter, the only real head hunters seem to be these officials

The reality is the kid is a first round draft pick. If parents can’t see that I don’t really know what to say. It should be obvious if you have any clue about hockey

Yes. But that's not the point. If BL had the same supporting crew on forwards, D and even G as CT, CM and LE, he'd have more points then them all. If the GTHL had an MVP award, he'd win as he is most valuable to his team. He factors into nearly 50% of the goals scored by Red Wings. That's a stud!

Best description of MOST kids in the G.
G kids have had EVERY chance to succeed because of daddy's $.
Saw a Marlies' Tourny game where 2 "top G goalies" had their asses handed to them by some unknown goalie on a low OMHA squad.
Scouts aren't stupid...they're looking for raw talent and unrealized potential.

BL gets called (in the "don't-hurt-our-babies" league") on infractions that wouldn't even raise an eyebrow in the juniors.
