Not a chance. Will be eliminated 1st round which will equate to same result as last season. Mediocre team and if they finish 7th behind NYR they won't get a wild card play in game.
So finish 6th and lose to JRC in rd 1 and lose play in wild card game to either VK or TM . Or finish 7th and lose to TT rd 1 and done for season.
Great goalie, weak D and a few good fwds. 7th place team. Didn't get better this season.
Hot take time. TRW will eliminate the JRC if they have their captain in the lineup
Kid is overrated......never beat TT or JRC in a series. All their decent wins now are due to leaning on hot goalie. Really are a bad team
How you like them apples
Congrats to TRW on a fine accomplishment. They had an answer for everything JRC tried to do and definitely won the coaching battle by a landslide. It’s as if they knew exactly what JRC was trying to do from their breakout to their powerplay and penalty kill. TRW defence was incredible at blocking shots and keeping JRC to the outside.
JRC truly missed their top D. How a team gives up 4 breakaways and countless odd man rushes is disturbing in a final game. TRW threw 3 lines and a resilient D core that came to play every game. This series turned in game 4 when JRC didn’t go back to their number 1 goalie and found themselves down 2 pretty quickly. Just bad decision making from JRC coach. It cost them. The bad boy from TRW proved his worth and will be a top 10 pick for sure. The TRW goalie saved his best hockey of the season for this matchup and was very good.
Titans and Redwing series will be high energy and exciting to watch.
The question is does TRW sweep round 2 or give up a game?
Wings are flying high!

JRC was simply exposed for what they are. A terribly coached team.

MV relied on two lines which did nothing. CW truthfully isn’t worthy of a top 10 pick. 8 did nothing and looked completely mediocre. 7 is simply not a top kid at all. Same thing with 6. 11 I don’t know what to think. 29 is their 9th forward yet played a ton $$$$$$$$$.

D are bad all around and for the life of me I can’t figure out WHAT ON EARTH MV SEES IN THE GOALIE. Outside of a hot mom he isn’t a good goalie.

MV is the reason This team lost.

Two things are abundantly clear after round one. First, BL is the most underrated player in the loop. second, CR is by far the top goalie.
BL93 is not underrated to scouts or people that actually understand the game and aren’t jealous parents. To scouts he has been a first round pick all year. He just takes the stupidest penalties and suspensions in the world. Next year that won’t matter as he either figures it out or learns how to fight with the cheap shots he gives out.

No that kid isn’t underrated in the slightest.
BL93 easily was the top skater on the ice in this series. Deal with it!
BL got rocked by 140lb #6 on JRC and you think he can play against grown men next season..... Momentum, goaltending, and capitalizing on key moments. A hot goalie can steal a series, and when a higher seed tightens up, the underdog thrives. That's why hockey is the greatest sport in the world. JRC’s goaltending struggles at times didn’t help, and CR was a wall when it mattered most. TRW barely hanging on and weathering storm after storm says a lot about how the series actually played out.. Yeah, that’s playoff hockey. Congrats to TRW. Will lightening strike twice for them?

CR was the main reason TRW came out on top. They were outplayed the entire series, even when JRC wasn’t at his best. Don’t get me wrong, TRW had a few good chances off transition and some over-the-net shots, but they really didn’t generate any sustained offensive zone time. JRC’s scoring dried up as well. When you’re consistently getting outshot 45+ to 15, it's tough to win games. Enjoy your monent TRW bc CR better show up next series or the games could be double digits just like this past series.

TRW match up very well in this series. They play a suffocating style of hockey and TT will rely heavily on 1 line.
Does TT top D come back from injury? TT goalie has been getting lite up and cannot beat a good team that puts more than 15 shots on him. TT coaching is very good and will have to make adjustments. Still TT has a ton of talent and is rested.

LOL only blind parents can't see the only reason they won is bc of a goalie. TT will get the same chances and shots and if CR isn't hot. 5+ goal wins will be the outcome
