Captain of VR went down with injury in game 1 bad collision but clean in my personal opinion. Game 2 i was there and the Avalanche clearly looked like the better team VR was winning 2-1 with like 40 seconds left VR’s goalie stole the show that game. game 3 was a complete disaster rangers had another guy suspended but it was close until the 3rd. Game 4 another game where avalanche dominated was tied 1-1 with a around 3 min to go vr goalies and a few forwards are all they have.

Ducks best player got killed in game 1, 3 don mills started fighting him the word is he is concussed, ducks won 1-0 with an empty net goal to make it 2-0 in game 2 and tied 0-0. yesterday the power went out so remaining of game 4 and if there is a game 5 will be played wednesday
In the “know” about Single A hockey. Good for you. Lol.
Ladies must me knocking the doors down to get to you.

Injured. Team is one dimensional without him. Won’t win as a result. No different than ducks on other side. Stop 1 player and you win. Coaches obviously a step below required intelligence level to recognize this. Shinny hockey mentality.
You’ve clearly never seen the Ducks play this year. They are much more than a one man show this year. They upgraded across the board.
This is the result of a parent coach where players are all friends. I was told a bunch of kids have been playing together for basically their whole minor hockey career. Avg team without their captain. Ducks were like this but made the right adjustments. VR never did it seems.
Teams should make some adjustments but actually the ones where local kids play together year after year? Good for them. It’s A hockey.
Hi VR coach, nice of you to chime in. This is fine but you will never win a championship again. If your goal is to have all your buddies play together , good for you. But if you’re looking to win every year, that’s not happening when everyone stays because they are all friends. Easy to now see why you haven’t won the last 2 years. My son’s team is not very good, but he plays with his friends and it’s ok. No one expects them to win. It’s different with VR. I’m sure the Woodbridge crew can’t be happy with this, those moms are nuts.

So, so bitter. I highly doubt that's the VR coach that posted above but it's hard to argue with their track record - first in the regular season every year since we started until this year, where they finished ...2nd place with a five loss season. And representing the West in the city finals two of five years, losing in finals the three times they didn't. No one else comes close. Congrats to the Avs on a great season. Good luck against the east.

FYI….you’re not a coach if you have to out source your training. A monkey can manage a bench in games. Especially if all he has to do is double shift #26. How did the adjustments go without #26 in the lineup? Keep Vaughan and their winning track record in SINGLE A

I disagree with that statement you are not a coach if you have to outsource your training. Avs and many other teams do this. Nothing wrong with having a pro help. None of the 3 coaches can actually skate on VR. One of the coaches is the dad of the little defenseman who has been suspended like 10 times over the last couple of seasons. I actually heard its close to 10 times, its not even an exaggeration. Seems high but maybe its possible. I even heard he got kicked out or had a misconduct from the last game they lost the series in. I would bet the farm he is on the team next year though. Guess we will see come fall. Without #26 you would be a 5th or 6th place team. Hence why having only friends play together makes it impossible to win championships.

Sounds like you might have been on the team and now you’re not on the team. You seem bitter and given your assessment of the current team and the fact your not on the team I think you should look in the mirror and realize your son is better off in select or trying another sport.

You realize it’s A hockey and who ever the coaches are, they choose to volunteer their time to help a team and give them the best experience possible regardless of your assessment on the coaches skill to skate. I’d say that’s a character flaw in you to attack volunteers and individual players. Don’t forget to flip your pillow so you’re comfortable and can sleep at night

I assume you are on in the inside right now to know what you know of the team by the sounds of it and I would assume next year you will be happier in select or playing soccer and so will VR not having your family on the team.

The fact you choose to comment on what you did is typical of being cut from a team and maybe it’s time to reflect and move on.

Regardless of level go find a spot where the kids can have fun and continue on playing the game long into adult league - more to life than this website and your bitterness

Congrats to the Avs for winning the season and the west final and other teams for getting better. U17A hockey will be much better next year and lots more parity in the west loop overall. East will still be dominant.

VR i think would of put up a better fight vs us if they had #26 just look at it they tied us 2-2, lost to us 3-2 and lost 2-1 with a minute left they would of won 2 of 3 of those games, in my opinion but you gotta give credit to their goalies for keeping them in every single one of those games. I just cant stand their goalies always knocking the net off and getting away with it. In our last game the goalie completely pushed it off No call and they do this every game and it ruins the game so much i cant stand that their goalies do that but wishing #26 a fast recovery i think our series would of been closer if they had him

First, If VR had 26 it would have been a lot different. The fact you blame the goalies for apparently pushing the net off is so dumb. you are a crazy AVS parent who is horny for the first time in their life after beating a team without their best player. so congrats and get ready to be swept by the ducks.
