Didn’t this guy just coach the winless TR AA team? lol, 10k well spent.
it was the season before and his DMF teams have been mediocre at best. Maybe this guy will know the rules when they have a suspended player

WH The kids coming down to A to will be decent players but don't expect that will change the league dynamic much, LF, EE and SYB kids.
FH is getting the top player from the AA team, and will be the top player in the loop. FH is well coached and will definitely be in mix next year.
NT lost a few players and are still looking.
SIR grabbed WH's top D (not sure how they let him walk) and a player from MI as their only changes .
VRE is picking up a few kids to bolster their attack from what I hear.
TA is a mystery as the team was kind of a mess at seasons end.
YM added a few players but don't see much changing.
GPR is apparently getting some OMHL Kids, maybe they win a game?

All the moves should make for a great season. The best part of this season was how competitive the loop was.
How is WH signing kids??? that's TAMPERING! - Coach is at it again I see. He should be waiting for tryouts like the rest of the league.
GROW up, live in reality

Started the pre season with that game. Two mid season tournament games and why not end it with those 2 in the final. Just seems right

you guys are nutz. travel time, two practices a week, 2 games a week lets call the games 2.5 hours considering pre game, flood and a chat after the game plus travel times.
Practices Assuming 34 weeks = 102 hours with travel
Games 34 games = 85 hours
Tournaments
any extra skates
try outs
lets just call it 200 hours.
Think about what any random job pays per hour.
10000 minimum
more like 15k plus some hotel for a tourney!
This is the biggest issue with kids hockey, it’s NOT a job and these D3/Tier 2 bottom end players are all trying to make it a job instead of getting an actual job. Pushing fees higher and lower income players get pushed further away. Hockey used to be blue collar, you know when Canada and leagues like MTHL were really good. Now? Rich kids playing on daddy controlled teams just because he “sponsored” the coach. If we removed the business side of kids hockey and levelled the playing field, bringing fees to something tangible again for lower income kids, watch the talent level explode in a few years.

Or pay some hack to have your kids skate around cones for $15k, here to break it to ya, but if your kid still can’t skate at 15…. He ain’t learning now.

Agreed - Prime example is WH. Daddy is "controlling the team". They ruined TRT AA buy bolting a the last minute, now LF "AA" Coach was caught off, now at WH "A"......the manager leave a trail of destruction eveywhere they go.

If your signing with West Hill, be very aware of what is happening.

What do we think the standing will look like next year and what's the reasoning of your choices?

What is considered a reasonable annual fee for A hockey? Dropping down next year and currently paying around $9000 at AA.

It’s all over the map, we paid $2,800 last season at SIR.

This year it was slightly more, around $3k

Does that include GTHL fee?
