VRE going to be WAY better next year. There bringing in 3 AA players and good ones too. There also brining in a kid from Willowdale who looked pretty solid with them while playing with pretty much nobody. I think the kid will be like the Goulidng kid who went to TRT .once he started playing with better competition he grew as a player and ripped it up assuming VRE hopes this trend will continue with this kid. Vaughan though is losing a big piece of there D-core. a kid who's been on this VRE team since they started out and has been unreal for them and this trend continued as he got even better this season. He left VRE to join NT next year which is a odd choice but VRE should still be that much better next year despite this major loss. VRE got rid of some big holes on there D and offence as they added more speed and a lot of it. There going to be very similar to the way SIR looked this year but with much better goaltending. Looking forward to watching VRE next season as they should be once again a top 3 team in the division and I wouldn't be surprised if they surpassed SIR as they have made some elite additions to the team. VRE should 100% be in the Tier 1 rankings for next season.
Yeah a 1.37 GAA across all contests is definitely SIR’s biggest problem.🤣. No respect for that tandem. The best GAA over the last 4 years of these kids! Yeah they have solid D but those goalies make the big saves look easy. In fact if the D or forwards would get the puck out after the 3rd save that GAA would be even lower! Big stop and Mr. Positivity are easily the best tandem in the east (this year)

Must be a leafs fan. We’ll get there next year. VRE could bring in an NHL player and it wouldn’t matter. Your coach stinks. Now we know he gets paid,🤣 spend that money elsewhere.

It is quite amusing that VRE is on here already posting for next year, as opposed to being a gracious loser and extending some congratulatory words to SIR who took care of them in the final with ease. Enjoy your summer...only one team from our loop is still playing...we can all come back to this crazy forum next year. I one for one am routing for SIR to represent the East as the champion...good luck to them

"FH Dad", you're not fooling anyone. Good luck to your son in the finals against the Eagles. Is that gracious enough for your fragile ego?

The coach playing his son all the time will level the playing field for all these superstars they are bringing down! AA Players dropping are usually not good enough to play AA and therefore drop down. VRE is going down next year!

I call BS. Who on VRE who would know all this and be stupid enough to put it here?

AA players drop down to focus on other sports or school, or to play with their friends who aren’t good enough for AA. Parents in this loop are delusional about what they’re actually watching on the ice.

If we’re being honest, the past couple years Vaughan had some excellent players. Good goalies. A bunch of forwards who can “wheel”. And lots of size. But as a whole, they often looked undisciplined, disorganized and not nearly as dominant as you’d expect from that roster. It’s not surprising they’re bringing in new AA talent. If a coach can’t get more out of what he’s got, what choice does he have?

So if we are being honest ... is it the players? or the coaching? VRE has always played as a bunch of individuals. When it comes down to the crunch, those teams that play as teams beat VRE. Even last year when YM took them to the max games, watching the games you could see it. No different this year ... SIR plays as a team ... VRE doesn't.
