I agree. Players posing as other team parents, players posing as other teams AND players just simply posting.

Calling kids out by their number no matter what they did, is not ok. Should we start calling out the parents and their attitudes in the stands based on their looks so we all know who to look out for? There are a lot of assumptions on this site as to why things are happening in games. Unless you are on the ice listening to all the back talk going on, you don’t know what’s led up to anything out there. Also the refs not calling things lead to escalations and the games get out of hand. The SIR parents telling the LS boys to f*ck off and just go to their change room after the game though, that’s a new low. Do better parents and maybe your kids will act better.
I agree I heard after the game parents on sb said Not Allowed off to the LS kids this is unacceptable and we need a change in the hockey world

Every team seems to want to intimidate SIR but it doesn’t seem to work. If teams would put forth a better effort into playing the outcomes might be different. It was a cheap hit but the kids wrist isn’t broken.
It was a great hit tbh
Enjoy the susy #50 - great way to end your season. And your coach is caught on a hot mic telling the SIR coach to "STFU" after you lost. It wasnt a ref issue, its a coach issue for Leaside.
Same this happened to us when we played Leaside. Once the game is out of reach the stupid hockey comes out and that all on the coach for not controlling that behavior. This is why they were a bottom team last season and are one again this season.

I've noticed a lot of comments about Leaside and how their coaches encourage fighting. But before jumping to conclusions, it's important to understand where these kids are coming from. When you're growing up in a tough neighborhood, sometimes aggression is a way of survival, not just a game strategy. That doesn’t excuse bad coaching, but it does explain why certain attitudes develop. Instead of just criticizing, maybe we should be looking at how to support these kids and give them better opportunities.
As a top-tier Forest Hill dad, my problem is with numbers 13, 23, and 88 from Leaside. They’re brutal and belong in house league. On top of that, they play dirty as hell. Funny how number 88 used to be third-line and GPR—what a joke. 😭
Talking about other kids is crazy, especially after the SB parents were telling these boys to f*ck off that is crazy insanity I am a parent of SB too

No, you're not an 'SB' parent because nobody would write SB instead of SIR. Nice try though.... 14 year old kids have found MHT.

I think it's perfectly fine to call out the LF ## considering what those players and the bench bring to the game. By far the dirtiest team in the loop and low hockey iq. What goes around comes around, someone is going to end up in the ER eventually. Sad.

I personally think gpr has a chance to go all the way coming from a top-tier fh parent. If you don’t agree, come settle it in the parking lot.

I don’t think it’s ever okay for adults to call out kid’s numbers or make blanket statements about a team and their coaches unless they were on the ice seeing and hearing what is actually going on. Not sure why everyone is harping on LF, they’ve kept it clean every game we’ve played against them. My observation of this forum is there are a lot of toxic parents from certain teams spewing garbage about every team they play. At some point you’d think you’d realize “hmmmm, maybe it’s us…not them.” I actually think it’s funny kids are on this forum now trying to mess with the “so called” adults on this thread that tend to put negativity out there. Sit back and enjoy this train wreck of a forum boys! Take back your power and don’t take any of this garbage to heart. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs, it’s been a great season with better completion than years past. To all the adults posting numbers and apparently swearing at kids, just stop and chill out. When provoked, teams retaliate, so stop being the victim. It’s a bad look for you.
