SIR v WH. Biggest story of round 1 obviously. I see SIR gutting out a game 4 win and taking it 5 when they’re back at full strength.
NT v TR. This one ends tonight. TR has been feisty and gotten great goaltending. But like WH, it’s almost midnight for the Cinderellas.
FH v TA. Has this series started yet? Each team has a lopsided win. Aeros have FH’s number. But injuries and locker room issues are biting them at the same time FH has come alive.
VRE v LF. A quiet sweep. Was it a mismatch? Or is VRE poised for a deep run?

A lot of people may not realize this but there are at least 6 to 7 players on this west hill team that three years ago won the gthl. They have a lot of playoff experience and can handle the pressure.
It does not surprise me at all They are doing this well. The only thing that surprises me is that it hasn't happened sooner.

The WH team that won the G years ago had a stacked big 5 that nobody could stop, until they went to the Finals and met teams from everywhere. This is a great series, WH has stepped up in a way nobody thought would happen. SIR very well may be the reason for their own demise, Game 1 antics, but this is first to 6, not 4. It should not be a surprise to anyone if SIR pops off for two games in a row...for WH to take down SIR three times in a row would indeed be a surprise.
I am sure all the teams in the league are hoping they do so, us included

I think most are surprised with the WH vs SIR series. While SIR is down still 2 players for the remainder of this series, even if they tie those last 2 players wouldn't be back in this round. Still SIR has been down players before and not lost 2 games back to back, one of those players was missing for half the season with injury and the other has had spotty attendance here and there. I don't know what's going on but one team is struggling at the wrong time and one team is finding their game at just the right time. Will be a great game tuesday I'm sure.
