Just wait.
As an Ex-Cap, I strongly urge you to stay far far away. Ask around and you will get the same feedback. FG will never have control of the team and will never be respected. He's like a puppet being controlled by those little strings hanging off crossed popsicle sticks. Parents, players all tell him what to do and he follows, like a lost puppy dog. The reality is he's scared to get called out for not having the experience or knowing anything about hockey. Big talk but no show.
Great post.....I guess every once in a while the sun shines on a dogs a$$. Anyone considering the caps should have their head examined. If your a degenerate then I can understand but if your educated then you should have no excuses.
Again, Accurate assessment, without name calling. It's harsh but this is the absolute truth. Play elsewhere. Totally understand it gets emotional, your kid probably got cut recently and looking for a new home to play but if I can give back to the hockey community in any way or protect parents and kids, please stay away from the Caps. Don't be the next regret once its too late.
Bunch of cry baby cuts. You know nothing. You have no intel other than your own failures as a parent. Maybe have your head examined…I know a good proctologist who can pull it out of your a$$.
That team has been a revolving door for many years now but surprised the organization awarded the team back. Knowing what we know, playing there would be like jumping off a plane with no parachute. If your willing to take that risk, then go for it and good luck. If not, there are better options out there
Feels like the caps are in a deep panic and trying to put some heavy damage control here. I didn't bother reaching out given the reputation of the coach and team. I did reach out to the wolverines coach, he said 7-8 caps kids are moving to wolverines next year. Given all the issues with the caps coach this year it felt about right. Many have been already skating so who's left that's staying?

No one is going to the wolverines. It’s the coach trying to find enough bodies to pay for an hour of ice.

If your looking for solid coaching and a competitive U16 year, I would reach out to Terriers, Toros, Streetsville, North Stars, Sharks. The top 5 are invite only and all other teams are "proceed with caution" good luck out there

Northstars will be in the "Train Wreck" category next year once the coaching announcement is made. This year they are ranked 24th which is still not bad.
Why? people know who the coach is already.

Looking at who has done what this season compared to last from what I know so far I'd guess...

- Rattlers improve, could be top 10 next year
- Streetsville will improve, top 50 at least next year
- Toros will improve, heard strong experienced coach coming
- Terriers will drop, maybe lower than ST next season
Panthers and Wolverines will also improve
Caps and Northstars will get worse

Tomorrows official coaching announcements will paint the full picture
Why would North Stars get worse?
They won’t. Their pick ups will make the team better. That came from someone who got cut.
New MNS coach will fail. He coaches several A and AA teams that don’t do well already. I know a family on his ST team and they say it’s a s#!t show. And he runs a hockey school. Sounds too busy for another team. The team was nothing before MG and will be nothing again.
Ignorant. He doesn’t run a hockey school, dumb dumb. You an MG fan?

Which kid pack team has the best outlook for next year? If the top teams are invite only and the bottom 3-4 are just bad..

New HC? Coming from AAA eh?
Reps eh ?
