When my boy was signed to an agency, same thing. A bunch of you jealous dummies came out here to bash him.
Also, I can see the agency pushing him away from his uncle as it will be in his best interest in the future to be on his own. Just an assumption though.

There's a lot more than 14. I guarantee 40% of the 2010 kids in the GTHL do, but it means nothing. Agents are just trying to make sure if you do amount to something they have you committed to them. So I wouldn't brag about having an agent yetGuest wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 11:19 amWeird I know about 14 players myself in the league that have an agent..Guest wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 12:44 am14 year olds do not sign with agencies.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 4:46 pm #9 just signed to one of the most prestigious agencies in hockey. Players don’t approach agents. Agents approach players those who have decided to build a relationship with one is great. It’s a voice outside of the parents and coaches. Most of the top kids have been approached and committed. It’s about a trained eye looking at kids who they believe have a bunch of transferable skill that the player will be able to use at the next level. No pick is a guarantee but you do have to be good and they do have to believe in someone. I believe top 40 kids in age group are committed to someone.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 11:32 amThere's a lot more than 14. I guarantee 40% of the 2010 kids in the GTHL do, but it means nothing. Having an agent is not something we brag about. It’s just something we feel is part of the process. Like anything else.

Committed yes, but means nothing. There's a handshake with intent. It's illegal to sign. so I will repeat no 14 year old's can sign. There is a database that we have access to that lets us know who's with who so we do not "infringe".

Reeks of insecurity actually. A great advisor would also share that your verbal commitment is also something they all think is ridiculous and meaningless but they've been forced into ridiculous recruitment younger and younger. Its a guess, and largely meaningless.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 2:35 pmGuest wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 1:25 pmPlayers don’t approach agents.
