OJHL/Prep/TierII: 17+
OHL/CHL: 18+
Stop shitting on the Marlies/Reps/Majors, etc. fact of the matter is the above. If you don’t believe me, ask parents with older players. Order a beer and enjoy the last few months

Did someone just say u18 is better than JR A![]()
Also since AH and MH bought NYR they have been the laughing stock of the OJHL. Half the team overpays for their spot. They dont give 2 shits where they finish.
Re: 2010 GTHL AAA
They paying you to copy and paste this propaganda all over the board? This is like 3 different threads dude. lolGuest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 6:31 pmThis year was the first season AH had full ownership vs just the jr A team. He’s not happy with last place and bringing in new coaching. He’s a legit ohl scout and making calls. Will they finish first, no chance but….If you want tons of ice time, no parent $$ influence, and to play for a ohl scout who also has a jrA team…NYR has it. My kid is on a playoff bound team and we may move but not doing anything until our season is over.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 2:30 pmThey sound tough! Tell me more.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 2:07 pmOhlendorf?? What team is that!?Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 2:06 pmBad coach this year maybe but the new owner of the entire org AH taking over the u16’s next season. Also a paid scout for 2 Ohlendorf teams so regardless of their record this year it’s the only team I know of where we can come in and play massive minutes for a paid scout!!!Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:58 pmMy opinion is more value getting more ice. Not being concerned with how many wins a team gets is fine, but just ensure you do your homework and that your son is still getting good development.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:52 pm
Apparently NYR are only asking 5-6kids back and looking for a starting (80%) goalie, top min D and Fwds obv. My question is does being on a losing impact my son’s ability to get noticed if he’s playing top line min? I think I know the answer but then I question what value it is to have a 3rd/4th liner on a top team if he doesn’t see the ice?
This current season there is a bottom team where I wouldn't want my kid if it was his only AAA option, I'd probably rather him play AA. But there is another bottom team, where if that was his option I'd be more than OK. Good coaching, good environment just not a lot of wins. Long way of saying do your homework extensively.
New owner? no new owner. Who is taking over U16 next year AH or MH? either way I'm not sure it's a great spot.

Lots of blowouts lately! Any first round playoff upsets coming or will the top 4 make it through?
Re: 2010 GTHL AAA
Tough to pin point the top 4. I think DMF would beat MM if they meet but MM would beat the SENs if they meet.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:58 am Lots of blowouts lately! Any first round playoff upsets coming or will the top 4 make it through?
Re: 2010 GTHL AAA
DMF isn’t close to top 4. They don’t win playoff games. Against the champs it would be another failed year.
