Totally agree PH hands down a top 10 player and lots of great players who get drafted and move on to long hockey careers from outside the G. Perhaps wanting to avoid the corruption politics and BS of the G.
Present day he looks pretty good. However I would avoid projecting where he will be in 5 years. From what I see-

- colts play him every second shift
- he is way more mature than other athletes
- given his maturity it is a concern that some non mature players can skate better than him with more refined skill

Like many kids, loads to work on to get ready for when the competition is bigger than him !

No he's not. He looks good playing in a weak league. Ever see him play against a legit team? Totally invisible. Sorry dad.

The kids you should be watching are the kids that are pre puberty and still competing with the big boys. There is kids in the G that are still putting up alot of points and competing even though they are playing against men. Every team has them including the big dogs.

Give us a few initials and teams. I am an agent working with the 2011s and I am looking to sign some diamonds in the rough. All the big boys are off the table to my competitors so I am open to a few of these kids.

I have 6 spots available, I currently have two on my radar. Both on a top 3 team.

PH dad seems like a maniac! Keep practicing bud and maybe one day he'll actually be considered a top 20 player.

If you are really this ignorant of the age group then no suggestions will help. Get off of your ass and start watching some games. If this is how hard you work for clients its pretty pathetic.

First question - to find your diamond in the rough how do you go about measuring their maturity offset?

The top diamonds in the rough , would not play on a top 3 team where they sit on the bench behind the men.
That would be like $hitting your pants and changing your shirt!
Look for the top liners from lower ranked teams, this is where the top reside ! And they don’t stink !
