They both struggle against top kids and teams in their own age group. Have you watched any games?Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 11:34 pm LA won the ohf last year with the 2011s. Top player. This loop needs to acknowledge the top kids. MD is also excellent, and could play up easily.
They’re like JH or CL getting points against bad teams and disappear when it counts.
Kids like CM are the real deal, those others are pretenders.

Yes he’s becoming irrelevantGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 10:17 pmJH is on the downslide. No more free rides and xbox's for himGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 10:03 pmLA is no where near the top. He played okay in the final and now he is a generational talent? He wasn’t even the best player on his team this season.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:58 pm 2012 age group is pretty weak. Hardly any 2012 players playing up.
Only MD and CM would have an impact in 2011.
LA did play up. He is 100% top 5 in the league. CM is still better than him, but he has more offensive talent and upside. CM has an amazing shot, and is a complete player. I just think that when other players catch up in size and strength he will not be as dominant. LA outshone him last game, but CM was still the only reason NYR have won. Both impressive players that will be high OHL picks
Let’s stop talking crazy. It was a team win and well deserved.![]()

Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
There a 3rd, 4th place team who play a good system and got a few timely breaks in the playoffs! Vaughan deserves a lot of credit yes they played well and well coached but caught a lot of breaks along the way! Not taking anything away from them but that’s the reality. Timely goals and a few bounces go the other way and they don’t get past marlies or Don mills. Just like all sports you need to catch good breaks at crucial times and then confidence starts to multiply and it’s a recipe for success. It’s really that simple! That’s sports you see it all the time
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
What breaks? Losing a key defenceman and then a top forward and still winning 3 straight against the best team for the last 4 years? Yeah, real timely breaks there. VK is much better than their 6th place regular season finish would have people believe and they proved it.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 11:10 am There a 3rd, 4th place team who play a good system and got a few timely breaks in the playoffs! Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
They won because their coaches made game plans for each game. PS's systems never change. He is predictable. Good coaches make adjustments. VK exploited them and beat them 3 straight, with far less talentGuest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 11:10 am There a 3rd, 4th place team who play a good system and got a few timely breaks in the playoffs! Ok, settle down guys. You won’t know who’s who for another 2 years but in the meantime, here is your list of top kids at the current moment.
