Don’t think you actually watched the game. HV STRUGGLE was real. Not a single HV goal until 2/3rds into the 3rd (!) period. Toros were severely short benched and still managed to play on par with HV. I agree with the above post that HV is not a top team. The stats don’t tell the whole story.

So which teams are better than HV (other than the 2 obvious ones)? Let’s hear it. Go ahead and lest them.
But before you go. They went 2-0-1 against GT Caps. 1-0-1 against MT. And 1-1 agsinst MR.

Exactly… HV LOST against Toros, Eagles, Streetsville, Rattlers and North Stars. Does that sound like a top 3 team to you? HV has zero consistency. their on ice performance is erratic and random. It’s like playing roulette - sometimes you win and sometimes you lose and nothing has anything to do with skills

Mb is favourite. That is it. Vp has really good d and goalie and can win it too. Hv proved they can go deep too. The
rest just aren’t there.

The hockey in this loop got better across the board, MB wins off pure talent, everyone else has caught up to em as the season progressed and the scores have gotten much tighter, anyone of the top 7 teams can beat MB on any given night it all comes down to who shows up to play. VP showed up, out battled and beat them. All the top 6 won some games they maybe weren’t expecting to and lost some surprising games as well, at the end of the day that’s just U12 hockey for ya inconsistency!

HV is closer to 10th place than 2nd place in the standings, competitive loop this year. A few games here and there and the standings look quite different.

They are not getting in the top 4 this year. Do all the stats you want but playoffs will be different this year. You can bank on that.

Toros we're hemmed in all game. Shot count was 34-14 in favour of Humber Valley.

We're about to see who the top teams will be.

The season is merely an exhibition schedule.
