I don’t get it with the HV hype. They have not even beat or tied MB or VP. Even GTC beat VP and tied MB through the year and they are not even close to be in their class. Just doesn’t make sense on this HV dad’s logic. When you play the big games against the top 2 teams do the kids show up. I haven’t seen any evidence they play the top teams. They can beat the rest but playing the top is not even close.

HV hate on this board is hilarious...my guess is that most of it comes from the fact that they are a low drama team, stable group that is developing year over year together while everyone else on here is chasing the wins, jumping teams every year because they believe the hype some coach is selling them about being a super team...HV just goes about their business, kids and parents seem happy and they went from a play-in team last year that had a cinderella run last year (GTHL west finals) and finished 3rd this year...my guess is they add a few pieces for next year and continue to remain near the top with a bunch of kids all developing together. BTW...I am not HV dad, DD goalie dad or WM coach...just a parent impressed by the HV way of operating

the hate is coming from the fact that people like you and HV dad (not the same person LOL) keep bragging about HV being on same level as MB and VP even though HV LOST against teams such as:

MNS !
MT !
MR !
TE !
FT !

Not sure but didn't HV knock out last year's VP team who was I believe 30wins and 3loses?

lol sure u aren’t. You just know the ins and outs of that team. Let’s see if they get out of the division. MB and VP should get the 2 spots and the other 2 are up for grabs. The tie didn’t help them as MR is a team they need to beat.

They literally said they’re a low drama team with the same core. You don’t need to know them well to see that’s the case. They quietly change 2 or 3 players a year. That’s it.

The fact this person is obsessed with HV and creating the HV dad persona is hilarious. This isn’t the AAA chat!

If the tops kids learned and were coached to move the puck they would be up there. A team that doesn’t work as a team especially at playoffs might sneak thru to round of 4 but will not get out of round of 4

The top 8 just started but you can tell it’s playoff hockey. Even the teams that came up are built for it. Rough and tough close games. All games decided by a goal or tied. Except for GTC they live and die by their offensive players. Don’t move the puck well and defensively not close to other 7 teams in the playoffs. They won’t be in the top 4 for sure but the rest have a chance. My prediction is VP,MB,MT,HV in that order.
