So you were obviously at the game. You must be one of the parents from NSW or APR. I’m willing to bet APR.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 6:20 pmWhat a dickhead response. You’re probably just pissed because the Whitby coach didn’t approach you about your kid.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 3:05 pm Why don’t you ask the WW coach? Easy to find him. He was talking to the NSW/APR parents Sunday night in Clarington during the NSW/APR game.
Not going to name the players coming in because that would ruin all the fun!
I’m guessing all 7 WW cuts will have to scramble for a spot somewhere else…… most likely NSW or APR or maybe they want to have a nice family drive to COW/MW/NCP?

Sounds like APR is going with a short bench. No more special favours keeping kids that shouldn't be in AAA.

Did they roster an extra player this season?Guest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 7:56 am Sounds like APR is going with a short bench. No more special favours keeping kids that shouldn't be in AAA.
Re: 2013 ETA
APR needs coaching .... the grub muffin behind the bench now is useless.
APR is everyone's plan B so they will receive a lot of calls for a back up plan.
all shortening the bench will do is cost more money, results will be the same.
Re: 2013 ETA
The apr parent group (most, not all) are the most toxic parent group in the loop. The way these dads think their kids are superstars and talk about other players on the same team behind their backs is nuts.
Re: 2013 ETA
Yes, the coaches know who they are, and they will be the first to go. The easiest way to attract players is to guarantee lots of ice time. That is why there'll be a shortened bench. Parents will pay extra knowing their kid will be on the ice a lot.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 9:44 am The apr parent group (most, not all) are the most toxic parent group in the loop. We’ve heard this from several different people. Hopefully APR cleans house.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 9:44 am The apr parent group (most, not all) are the most toxic parent group in the loop. The way to attract players is Development, a good program, AAA caliber players ( 3-4 kids ) and winning ...... APR has very little of that.
They have all the OSH/CLA kids that were cut and their coaching is sub par at best.
having a short bench is not going to fix that. This current team would be a mid pack AA team.
Cleaning house might be a natural occurrence as the top players will try their best to get out and other centers cuts will come calling.
This team needs to bring in a AAA coach with experience with development and running a successful program.

Exactly. Not just winning but a winning mentality. That starts with getting rid of the toxic behavior. Will be interesting to see how that shakes out in APR land
