Yes a couple over the Christmas break both In the G and OMHA.

Lots of stuff going on behind the scenes with open boarder announcement coming this week.

Top end players all play together in the summer ( G/OMHA ) they will pick what coach they want to play for and what makes the most sense for travel and the super team or teams will be formed.

Next year will be just like the G with 4 top teams and than the rest….. coaches are not announced until Jan 15th but will be notified before so they can start the recruiting process ….

The rich will get richer and the poor will eventually be abolished

This right here ... parents having to call coaches to get their kids on teams.

If your kid was any good the coaches would call you. Nobody is going to beat down our door for my kid and that is fine ... but I am certainly not going to beat down a door for him.

If he wants to be good enough to go somewhere else, work for it don't rely on Daddy or Mommy making backroom deals for you. Minor hockey is about to get so much worse.

It's going to be fun when kids leave the organization they are in to try out somewhere else only to get cut. Then come back to their home center expecting the coach to save their spot!

advice to those looking for greener pastures..... make sure you have a spot before burning your bridge with your old team.
