Hearing Sens are pay to play as well now

Paying to play seems off. Kids earn their ice time just like the earn the line they're on. Stop being a angry parent and going after other kids because your kid doesn't get the ice time you think the AA or single A kid should have playing on a AAA Team.

Bingo! It sounds like one of those whiny parents who claim their kid is the victim of a conspiracy on every team they’ve ever played for. Maybe they just aren’t very good!
Spend an afternoon with sick or handicapped kids and you’ll realize there are worse things in life than your kid not being a great hockey player. That goes for the people who pay under the table for ice time too.

All these problems are because the organizations don't care about their programs culture. Every organization should have full control of the day to days operations of every team. A couple things that would help control parent interference and coaching integrity.

Starting with coaches – hold legit interviews with coaches (every year) that have a proven history of teaching the game and personal accomplishments that support the role they are applying for.

Tryouts – The coach, and three other bipartisan individuals assigned by the organization select the final roster. Each will compare their selections, and the coach will provide an explanation for each of his selections. Remember, the coaches are paid, so this is a employee position and the organization should treat it as such.

All team managers are assigned by the organization. That manager will be responsible for reporting any coaching and parent issues back to the organization as well as provide transparency regarding all team fees and costs.

Orgs only care about collecting their fees. I agree with you, but it won’t happen.
