What a dumb statement! Even the last place Rebels lost only 4-1 to TM. Competitive games all season. The 2013 loop has depth and good players from top to bottom.
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
The Rebels have 4 wins and 24 losses. That doesn’t sound competitive to me.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:49 pmWhat a dumb statement! Even the last place Rebels lost only 4-1 to TM. Competitive games all season. The 2013 loop has depth and good players from top to bottom.

That’s an ass kicking in hockey.
Loser mentality.
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
The fact a last place team beat a top team shows there is parity in the league. 2012 age group NYR and JRC beat most teams by a touch down from 4-12. The bottom 4 teams have less seconds of offensive zone possession as they have goals. The league will get tighter next year and kids will start to come out of nowhere. Just because you are at the top of pile now does not mean in 12 months it will be the same

Sens beat VK
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
There's difference between parity and a freak occurrence. The Reps beat TM this year too and that wouldn't happen again in 20 games. The Sens beat VK. There's the 3 big upsets of the year after 360 league games have been played. That's not parity, thats top teams who were not prepared and threw those games away.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 9:05 am The fact a last place team beat a top team shows there is parity in the league. 2012 age group NYR and JRC beat most teams by a touch down from 4-12. Next year will look much the same as this year. No kid who struggles now is going to come back after the summer and be a force in the league. For some reason a lot of parents whose kids struggle seem to think that one day they will magically become stronger and better skaters, even though neither of the parents is even 5'9" or athletic. It just doesn't happen. Bu U15 you may see 1-3 kids in the entire league become good players who were not before, but there won't be any more than that. I've already put two kids through U16, I'm not judging but this is just the way reality works.
I'm not saying give up hope, I'm saying be realistic. If your kid is getting cut this year, he's not coming back as a stud next year.
