For anyone with the capacity to do so, start asking questions to help right the ship.

For now.. I find GTHl teams that are behind the US teams, end up closing the gap in the next two years.
It’s all down to the coaching quality. Most good quality coaches do not coach u10 or below. Here we have a monopoly, where all the early development is done by the same people who care about making piles of $ with 35-40 kids on the ice. No correction etc.
We get conned by these cookie cutter hockey schools. The BRICK MAFIA, Where they talk about developing the kids, but end up doing the same flow drills, or outsourcing the work to new hockey coaches, who struggle to control the 30 kids on the ice.

Once the Brick shenanigans is over, most parents never return to those coaches, their kid develops and boom, we have parity again. With that being said, we are REALLY REALLY far behind at this age group, where our top GTHL teams get beat by a touchdown to the best US teams. There are no real standouts…YET, but we will see how things progress in 2025.

i stand by what someone posted earlier in the year about #90 on the rebels.
the kid was CLEARLY CUT and was on full display today against the rangers today.
the kid is hands down the dirtiest player in the league.
NYR parent here and i wathced his dirty antics; its on Livebarn for all to see go to the 9 min mark in the 3rd period and about 3:35 min mark in the 3rd.

there is no way that MC stands by this behaviour..

Nice overhand two-hander to the head as a retaliation. First incident you’re referring to was an aggressive play, but not that dirty. Second one was nyr headhunting him and a classic case of FAFO.

Just saw both hits as recommended by the above user. First hit was fine just a penalty. The second hit, the rangers kid #18 clearly charged at him with intention to injure. 90 retaliated with a punch after the kid tried to clearly target the head before. So let’s see the true facts. #18 then hit 90 with a stick but couldn’t do much damage. 18 should be suspended and banned from the league. 90 only retaliated after the initial headshot targeted to him.

Looks like 18 and 90 just went hard and bang on but 90 gets up throws a punch to a kid who just happens to come in

Latvia beats Canada 3-2
How many players from Latvia played in the brick
So Canada should not have used their best kids?
Non brick players are irrelevant. Like your kid.
Hockey Canada did not take Best players. They had to play politics with CHL and take kids from all 3 leagues instead of the best overall.
Hey dummy, go look at the roster. Oh wait, you probably can't read and get all your news from the lobby of hockey rinks.

13 OHL, 8 WHL, 2LMJHQ, 1 AHL. Real even distribution to keep everyone happy, eh? Idiot.
