There is a big drop off from top 4 to teams 5-12 in AAA , and will be even worse next year when those top 4 teams get stronger.
Listen to this guy he knows what he's talking about.

I think they are talking about tendency of kids parents to want to get their kids to AAA but not being able to go to one of the top AAAteams. My thoughts on this are that if you do not have a kids that is great at hockey to start with then they have start somewhere. Also it is not. Bad thing to have to face some adversity. As a D or a goalie, an argument can be made that not being on a top 4 team might be better. In the end it would be good to be on a team that is competitive against everyone but top 4 and maybe take some lumps against the top 4.

9 year olds have bad games sometimes. VR beat some top end teams along the way.

But haters gonna hate.

Yes some people are really chasing that third A with their whole chest.
What skates have you been to? I have only heard of the Titans and Markham Majors having skates so far. We went to a Titans skate ... the level of players was way above anything I have seen at AA. I'm not sure it is necessarily a bad thing to be on a bottom AA team as opposed to a top AA team.

Others aren’t having skates but having 1-2 kids show up to skate during their practices.

The top West teams all have their pros and cons. But generally most of them are better than East.

VP - have a very weak goalie and no stud scorers, rely on solid D, tight and well coached roster. Their performance in the playoffs will depend 150% on goaltending, teams that can score early and often can beat them.

MNS - will rely on their super scorers and very strong D with a solid goalie behind them. Their problem is they shy away from physicality and they have 2-3 kids who should play select. It will depend on whether coach sits them, hes a yeller so the odds are high.

FT - much like above also have a couple of super scorers and a solid goalie. Well coached and disciplined, kids mesh well. Their D is weak and is for the most part getting cut so that’s what will decide their fate. Coach is ruthless, like MNS will sit a third of the roster to win.

VR - good all around team, fight and battle hard on the boards. Their fortunes will depend on how many dumb penalties they take and they take alot. Lack up front scorers so they have to play as a strong team. If things go badly they give up. Coaches kind of nuts.

MB - overrated, without their stud up front they don’t have much else. Also cycling out D like FT so that’s what teams should target. They can be dirty like VR but for some reason the refs don’t punish them for it.
