Its the parents who let their kid play on TRW that are to blame. A losing tier 2 NYHL team who keeps half the kids. The parents all chased that extra A so they could tell their friends "my kids plays AAA". They all knew what this season would look like and if not they're just plain dumb. I feel for the kids but the parents are 100% to blame.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:28 amplay AA and stop chasing the extra A.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:06 am1000% the families are good people too (at least the ones I know). The kids have not won a game all year. 22 losses in a row, it is brutal. It is hard enough to motivate kids/families with such a losing streak and now you rub it in with 14-1 wins? The learning lesson had already happen 20 times prior to these 14-1 scores. This is not the real world .. this is youth hockey and 10 year old hockey at that. It is not fun losing 14-1.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 10:00 amSorry, that’s on TRW. You’re in the AAA loop, you need to know the level of competition when you start. If you can’t do your job and build a more competitive team that’s on you. Don’t ask your opponent to adjust for your incompetence. Take it as a learning lesson and build for the future. Sorry if that sounds harsh but welcome to the real world.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 9:17 amHalf is on TRW for allowing it to happen. Pick better players and put kids in a proper position to succeed. That organization has major issues to begin with. It used to be the go to org and now it’s a bottom feederGuest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 9:04 am Personally, I am disgusted to see two scores of 14-1 in this loop delivered to the TRW. JRC and DMF should be disgusted with themselves. TRW had to go into XMAS being thrashed 14-1 and then start the new year the same way? When you are up by 5 goals .. pass it around, put forwards on D. We are 20 games in and you do this BS? Disgusting, you know better!
You’re also right they need to shut it down. I always tell my kid I don’t care if you can score 5 on a dog shit team. That’s not impressive.
Have some empathy and stop pumping up the score this isn’t a tournament.
Work on shit like it’s a practice. I don’t disagree. If it’s U13 and up go nuts but these are still little kids. Remember, many still sleep with stuffed animals.

NATS are a few pieces away from being a wagon and this coming from an outsider looking in
Says only a Nats parent! Guess you watched a different game.

It is 100% on the parents for not walking from those awful TRW birthday skates last year and pushing forward to be on the team.
There’s a terrible 0-33 (or close to it) team every U10 season. Last year it was the Reps. The 2 years before that it was the Titans. This time it’s TRW.

Exceptional coaching.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 1:21 pm How do the Nats go from beating JRC to losing to NYR? They are the most inconsistent team I’ve ever seen.
Re: 2015 AAA
four dads on the bench. only one played hockey but too worried what parents think to actually coach the game. surrounds himself with YES men. none of them care about hockey when they leave the rink while all the other coaches are working hard to recruit or get better.

Re: 2015 AAA
Sunday morning a u10 skate at Chesswood, AA kids from VP, NYK, NT and a bunch of AAA kids from WW, TT MM, MW, YSE and BJC. Does anyone know which team it was? Thought maybe TM, or VK?
The AA kids were significantly less skilled.

Re: 2015 AAA
Nats were down 4 kids when they played Jrc. 3 of those players are cancers to the team and with them on the ice Nats won't get a win against the top teams. also coach cares way too much about what the parents will say instead of playing to win.
