It's all about recruiting for TM as well which after watching a bunch of games this year they need help. Seems like the TBD ship is sinking more and more year after year.
Save your money , it's to the point that kids who associate themselves with TBD or ML/GL are becoming obsolete and black listed. Coaches who have taken kids they have had are stuck trying to reteach the game , pylons are for select and house league not AAA.

Guest wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:57 am Birthday skates seem to be less common in 2015 group this year... Are most of the top teams sticking with their core? The 2014 skates are nuts right now. All of the team flipping we've seen has been coaches making offers based on scouting so far. Is that the standard for 2nd year?
Or.... you're not invited :o
Teams are already made for U11, 2015 is a deep age group and with top OMHA kids coming into the G it will be the place to be, BOOK THAT
No U11 teams are made. Grow up.
Clearly you will be at 12 different tryouts lol.

Guest wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 2:57 pm Why is anyone driving to the G to play hockey ( over 1 hr drive)? If your kids is good enough it makes more sense to have him play up a year. Skill and speed will always be better. One would have to think the associations will allow kids to play up for the risk of losing them to open boarders.

Definitely at this age u10 no one cares how good you are now. Let Johnny go hard and grind it out in the corners playing up a year. That's where he will became a better player.
Up a year 2014 is weak and omha is 1 team deep terrible for development
Play 3 years up, be a man.
I just signed my kid up for U16 tryouts. He’s only 9 but he will be 10 in June.

MR beats TM / Reps tie Nats / TT thrash MM - parity closer than we thought
Good coaching reveals itself this time of year.

TBD skate today let's go boys

After last night's game it looks like PH is in some serious trouble between the pipes.

TB tryouts are ontario’s sloppy seconds. Enjoy the “ selection “ process while the used car salesmen lamacchia family tries to save their losing empire 🤡
