NYR skates didn’t impress at all and doubt they will attract anyone especially after the teams last tournament. A team you leaving out is TRW. This team will be top kids from Saints and some other pieces. Expect them to be good.
Went to the trw skate today and lots of kids showed up but level was sub par, lots of AA quality - not impressed

The worst birthday skate was probably TM—not because of the kids, but mainly due to the coaches. It was really bad and gave a glimpse of what practices might look like next year.

Good luck to Kosta!

With this age group there will probably be a good chunk of very weak teams. Bottom feeders will struggle really bad unless they have a good coaching staff that can really develop the kids. Do your homework and find a good coaching staff.

U10 AAA always has massive gap between the top and bottom. What I’m seeing at the skates is the gap in this age group will be a lot closer than previous years. The teams will all be competitive. Go look at the current u10 aaa standings — we won’t have that next year.

I disagree. There will be a huge gap. Just look at KSl for this age group. Outside of group A the teams are very weak and could not beat any team in group A except for maybe Saints who seem very inconsistent. Out of that group one will be WW, JRC will take their core and other better kids off other teams. Same with TM. Saints will be TRW. Then you got NATS and VK. All other teams will be very weak. They will be competitive against each other but can’t beat any of the other top teams. So gap is close within weak teams but huge against the top teams. Teams like MM, Sens, DmF , NYR , Reps, Rebels will be much weaker.

I am not disagreeing with this generally (however I dont agree with what teams you think will be good and wont... but who cares for now) But what I was saying is, there will not be a zero loss team and a zero win team in this group. The standings wont shake down the way the current u10 and last year have gone. The bottom teams will all win some games and the top ones will lose some. That is my prediction for now until proven otherwise.

Nothing matters unless you got the cold hard cash 💰 to pay your way into the best teams. I’ve seen average players go far because the parents paid some extra money to the club.
