Youre either the coach or a parent who can’t get on any other AAA team trying to keep your boat afloat either way good luck you guys need it
At 9 years old it's about getting good coaching and ice time that's the hope for the team you put your kid with. If It's about collecting trophies and medals while trying to blend in with an already established core of ass kissing parents with a coach who runs a hockey school while your kid only plays 3 shifts a game then there are plenty of options out there JRC, VK, TM, REPS, TRW, take your pick. I'm sure your kid will learn so much! TT, DMF, NYR, SENS nothing wrong with those choices. Don't believe this garbage on here.

If real opinion is needed ask Stars parents about new coach and future NYR coach. There is no assistant coaches on bench. On bench will be small kids with helmets. The coach will be running side to side only screaming and waving arms. No goals then small boy with helmet will be told to bench the boy who missed the chance to score. There is no second chance. Any mistakes will be benched. Kids will learn nothing all season except house league hockey. No startegy for development. Last tournament only won the 1 game. This tournament might be a disaster. No wins. Since new coach came the team record is only losing. Good luck to all players going NYR. Big reason no Stars tier 1 going.

Is this an AI generated message from google translate? Maybe you should thank your lucky 'Stars' that someone came in half way through the year to take over a Stars team where the coach was fired and his Asst coach banned for fighting when they came off the bench. Two players left the team who were bad apples anyways but scored 80% of their goals, doesn't say much for the other kids there right? No one says they will be the top but if you don't know where kids are coming from, the guy has to start somewhere to establish a new core. Have a some patience before you $hit on a situation you know nothing about.

Coaches need to be held accountable. At 8-9 years old very few kids are really good. Most kids will need development and will develop at a different pace. so ask parents and ask around. Don’t just go for the fact that only 1 team wants your kid. If the coach is a miserable tyrant who will find every excuse to either bench your kid or destroy his or her confidence you are better off with a good coach in AA. There are many good coaches out there but there are also a few horrible humans who think they are coaches but are completely clueless and just upset about life in general and will take it out on your kid. Do your homework.

I think you can draw your own conclusions there lol. There is not 1 kid outside of d man that is a AAA player. smart play on the coach.
I can say that I have seen at least 6 Stars kids out to other skates and there are quite a few good players on Stars just like there are on many other teams. There are probably others as well but I’ve not seen them all. Are they the next McDavid obviously not but they are skilled. It should be up to a coach to motivate and develop kids, put them in position to develop, gain confidence and get better. I don’t know the coach personally so I won’t comment on what’s really going on there.

Very accurate post. Lots of skilled kids with no good coaching. Most of the Stars kids have already landed AAA spots on other teams. Sounds like a coach problem. Not a player problem.
