looks a bit rigged to me. So called marlies in pool c? young kings in pool b?
Those are just brackets dummy, not ranked like the other Klevr tournaments. There is a quarter final, semi and final in the 2016 division.
Guess you on the marlies team huh lol
Nice division doctoring by that little greaseball Versteeg. In 2016 Tier 1 A I present to you the group of death!

To be fair, aren't most of those teams "all-star teams" more like Spring teams than a normal fall team?

Yes agreed however if you're bracketing a tournament you would hope that organizers would seed teams to the best of their abilities if only the top 8 of 15 teams make the elimination round. To have 4 of the top 8 teams in the tournament in the same group is a disservice to everyone competing. International stars are the best team in the tournament. Everest are the Nats and they are a very strong team. OHP is a spring team and they are strong as well. Chicago reapers are the best team in Illinois.
Obviously the young kings are very good as well but the 4 teams in group A would be the favorite against any other team in the tournament. A 2 year old could have done a better job selecting at random. Not a big deal yes I know it's 8 year old hockey but in the same breath if you're going to do all this work and families are travelling thousands of miles why not get it right ffs.

The problem with the groupings is that they are not balanced.

Division teams only play within their divisions in the round robin.

The A group looks to be the strongest. Strong teams in that group will not advance as they will not get any easy games and soft points. Where other top teams in divisions B and C look like they have an easier schedule to pile up points.

Serious question. Who the hell is Omaha and why this name so famous?

On another topic, looks like lots of scouting happening at the TPH skates today.
