DMF is an interesting situation. What happens when there are too many chefs in the kitchen. If rumours about trying to secretly pull in some YK kids and being turned down are true, this shows just how out of tune this group is. So what do you do when your big plan fails? Rebrand with a new strategy. It’s no longer about what it is now but what we can be. So if that doesn’t work out so well you pickup what you can. Parents realized they were just running too many skates with no real plan, and confusion about coaching staff. Kids committed elsewhere and so they started to scramble and offered whoever was remaining spots. Even kids who have been offered spots have been skating elsewhere - this is the harsh truth. You spot the other parent and you just nod heads. You both know it is what it is.

most coaches are no different. evaluate kids based on what team they play for rather than their actual skill. eventually it all washes out.

Anyone know of any tier 2 teams with some great players on it? maybe playing on bad teams? making the jump to AAA next year? Are there any amazing tier 2 players?

Rebels

His kid is a very solid player.

He’s definitely not the worst player on that team. There are others whose kids are much lower on the depth chart. They know who they are.

Tier 2 omha players are on that team…. Enough said

Yep but if you throw dollars at him he will dance like a stripper. That happens when this is a coachs main source of income. Like poster said, some families coming to our team would never make another team.

So are you saying Rebels have a number of OMHA MD kids? From which MD teams?

What’s the latest with the rankings. Who’s moving up.

Tier 1 will have solid competition with PC/Raiders and the Kings. The Aces should be moved up to get a reality check in tier 1. Not sure why our PC haven't played them at all this season other than a tie back in January. They are probably the same or better than MS Stars Gold / Buffalo/ Northern Saints. My thoughts is the final will have them in tier 1 and Buffalo here again also.

When will the AAA cuts start coming to AA teams in the G?
