Aces went 2-2-1. They brought in some help. How do people on this forum magically know about the guy who’s coaching behind the scene and expected to take over at AAA. It’s because actual Aces parents have raised concerns about the constant screaming and yelling and everything . People don’t make stuff up. If the coach does not change his behaviour he will lose some kids and may not get others. This type of behaviour is unacceptable around 8 year olds.
The aces looked like the same familiar kids as always maybe just a new goalie like some have said which can make a big difference vs what they had last season. The parents I’ve talked to on that team haven’t had any problems with the coach and seem extremely loyal to stay there even if they have other options which I know some do.
It’s likely a classic tale of sour grapes from past players and I think many coaches have had this happen to theem before.

Aces over the weekend in tier 1 group b
The 2 wins came against Evolve hockey USA and HSL Selects which is a travel team from BC or Alberta I believe.
The 2 loses were against the YK 4-3 in one and 4-0 in the other
The 1 tie was against purple cobras 2-2
They look like they are on track to be a decent team next year if we think that highly of WW
I don’t know the coach so can’t comment but Aces winning against HSL Select is nothing to be proud about. They were 0-5 and Evolve only beat HSL Selects by 1 goal. If the kids on Aces stay they will be decent team near mid pack but not a top team.

YK finally played one established team and they lost. Let’s call facts. There are really only 2-3 solid teams in the league. They play the same weak teams over and over and when they play a decent team like the raiders they tied even with the refs in their back pocket. It’s a big illusion and all you guppies just keep eating it up. They are good but not the gold standard.
Updated rankings???????
Top 4 (no particular order)
JRC
VK
Nats
TM
Bottom 8 (in order)
TRW
TT
Rebels
Reps
Mm
Dmf
Nyr
Sens
TRW has been a surprise. They can give top 4 run for their money if AC can teach the kids to pass the puck. Sens should move up imo and be after Reps.

Why are Sens so low on list. Do they have a feeder? NYR has a feeder the Stars but parents think they will find a better situation. Parents should put their ego aside and build a good team with NYR.
Who's top coach choice for York simcoe? Barrie? Markham? Ajax? Cow? Whitby? Whitecaps?
Any super teams forming with open borders
Super team will be WW, YSE maybe Whitecaps. But QRD will be very strong.
Curious why the Whitecaps would be better than the A/P team?
With open borders I would think it would come down to coach, and I think more kids from Junior Wings, and Young Kings, etc are more likely to favour the closer A/P no?

From the Mississauga teams, i think sens will be better than rebels. ive been to both skates and they both look decent but sens would be the better option imo.
