While all these teams are fighting to make rosters, VK roster is already set. They ran some efficient skates and filled the few pieces they needed. This is a top 3 team easily.

These rankings that some so called TSN analysts writes is actually pretty funny. How can anyone know where anyone sits when we’re still 10 months out. I come in here for a chuckle and I sure do get that with you crazy psycho parents that spend their days and nights writing on here daily. Go look in the mirror it’s an ugly sight!

The rankings are based off of todays dates on team committments so far and where the players talent is at so far.

VK has been busy revamping the roster to add size. Nats making huge changes. Rosters will be very different.

Nats should improve to an upper middle back team. They had added a third liner from the Raiders black team of all places to start this year so I am sure they'll be replacing weaker positions where they had to pick from the scraps of the KSL this past year.
On second thought their whole team is weak unless they bring in their spring imports this will most certainly be a middle of the pack team.
TM, JRC and as we see the VK are light years ahead already. Reps, TT, Rebels probably also better given some of the decent players stuck in those mixes.

I don’t think that’s going to be “Nats” they run a short bench and the team will look significantly different next year. This is Duffield White. All 3 games were 3 quarter ice. That's not hockey. No icing, No offsides. That Vaughan Rangers team won't play Duffield white full ice and it's embarrassing really. Now they have no choice as the NYHL is full ice in January. Perfect example they played a team from Burlington on the same weekend full ice and only beat them 2-0. Duffield white played the same team full ice and beat them twice 12-2 and 10-1.

I heard last weekend Vaughan Rangers Red were in a tournament in Detroit and they played the 2017 International Stars in the finals and won it. I have questions… 1) why were they playing a 2017 team in the finals? 2) If a 2017 stars team makes the finals even in a 2016 division how good was the competition of this tournament?
3) was it a tier 2 division they entered in?

Are the borders open?

A lot of VK parents knew this was coming. They were going to add kids from KSL otherwise there was no way they’d compete. Nats are stronger than VK for sure but people are thinking twice to go there due to the issues with some of the parents who Darwinian will probably keep. Their US add ins are not an option for winter hockey. People keep putting NYR at the bottom but things are not so gloom and doom and don’t listen to the noise cause they may end up attracting some strong players as other teams get closer to commits. Not sure why so much hate on the TM coach. Seems to be doing a decent job with the Raiders. Sure he lacks experience but you gotta start somewhere.
