If you are bringing in better players someone is losing out

What about that kid who plays up every other year from LJS....where is he going?
BM is going to Chatham. He tried to leave to go there half way through this year. I bit of a red flag being on 3 different teams in 3 different years IMO. MM is recruiting hard to try and make Chatham even better so that BM can shine this year.

Are we making 5-6 changes yes, but that's hockey and we want to win. Stop the Hate and worry about your own kid/team and leave us alone already
what about tryouts, how do you know who is coming before tryouts
No tampering at Elgin.
Campbell and Savage to EMC. Who else is leaving Chatham? Just because a couple kids were promised the world in Elgin doesn't mean there are problems in Chatham. Excellent coaching will get Chatham kids further than being in Elgin.

So...who is out at EMC?
KK
CH
GW
CM
AM
DD?
BB?
DR?

Good for EMC for massively improving their goaltending and defence.
How will the 2 LJK kids fit into the D lineup? DL still going to be able to hold the top spot?

If the D from CKC is going to EMC then the LJK D just got bumped down. The D from LJK was already going to see limited ice, it just got worse for the LJK kids going there. But hopefully they all have fun thats what its all about. It also pushes some of the "Top" forwards on the team down.

the savage kid is going to leave to be a third liner? no chance he cracks the top 6. too many promises made to other players already. BC has been promised the world which pushes AT and JM down the lineup and limited minutes for CM who might actually be their best D. we need to now cut a player that was told they had a spot. also heard that a lot of recruiting was going on during the season including emc executives making calls and even some face to face meetings with players and parents. grab the popcorn.

This is a funny and useless debate. You see limited ice when you cant play the game or not trusted by your coaching staff when they need you. When hitting starts, things look differently for all players. You get tired faster because hitting and getting hit is exhausting. Also have you seen the stats on injuries in first year of hitting? You cant rely on one D or two for the entire game. Successful teams have four strong, fast, tough D. Agree the two bottom D or three for forwards lose ice time in critical games or situations. Elgin will have four strong, fast, tough D if not 6. Also, if you cant produce ( and not just getting goals), you see limited ice. I think the people writing these comparisons don't even know any of the players well enough to comment on what makes a complete player's game at U14.

Savage a third liner? Have you seen how agile he ? He is the real deal -athlete and all. He will most certainly make a big impact in the top 6. Dont be sad you didnt get the face to face.

Let’s not forget this is the first year of hitting. You can throw the last 4 years out the window. Point leaders this year will be completely different. I can think of one EMC forward who’s points are going to plummet due to body contact.
