excuse my ignorance but is that an actual possibilty? who would they be buying it from?
Amha is a NFP, it cannot be sold like the junior A teams . Open borders will solve this issue, Aurora won’t last 2 more years. It has been a way for certain staff and exec to extract $$ for years, when that dries up they will lose interest and all of the well intentioned parents and kids will be long gone.
I don't think all that many will leave. Everyone like to whine and complain, but nobody does anything... look at 2012 AA, the coach that is there, nobody wants him, but nobody else puts in for the team either. its the same thing throughout the association.
Isn’t the upcoming season the first time people will have a choice? How can you be sure they won’t leave?

Is the AMHA taking coaching applications yet? Or is that already done?

I believe coaches cannot be announced to January 15th. My guess is all AA/A coaches will be announced tomorrow. It will be interesting how many will be from other borders/cities. This will show just the level of talent upgrade we will see across AMHA Rep teams.

With open borders, the coach announcement date was pushed to Feb 15th. From my understanding the application dead line has come and gone. HOWEVER I believe there may be some vacancies... I would contact the AMHA and inquire .

Coaching and Championships ..
The conversations around the rink this weekend were pretty common about who is "for sure" staying and who is "for sure" leaving. Should be lots of drama to finish this season. Keep it classy parents.
it will always come down to coaching. the current U13 (next years U14) will have a lot of movement if they don't change coaches.
Even if he were a good coach, which he isn’t, having the same coach for one age group benefits no one.
The only good coach in U13 is the B coach.. AA and A coaches are useless.

Love seeing these comments from a short guy with a loud mouth who doesn’t volunteer himself. Get a life. Funny thing is your kids gonna be screwed because you’re a parent cut. Good luck getting in anywhere next season. Enjoy HL where you belong.

Sorry MM, that one wasn't my comment. Hard to believe, but I'm not the only one who thinks you're a terrible coach/person.

Truth is, he’s a joke of a person who can’t coach and knows nothing about hockey.
