Tells them they’ll never move to the next level cause he wants them for himself. Appreciate volunteers one hundred percent but I think you’re missing the point. He shouldn’t be volunteering. He shouldn’t be allowed 4 years coaching the same poor kids.

Stating skill level is not attacking a kid. Only person who attacks kids is mm, ask his entire team.

This is all truth!!!!! I appreciate volunteers and support the ones who deserve it. I volunteer myself in other associations and would never even think of doing the things that clown has down to children. It’s easy to blame the crazy hockey parents if you have never been victimized by MM and his antics. But we have been, good friends of ours have been, kids have been left crying in benches undeservedly, the list goes on and on. He isn’t the only one, but is by far the worst. CS spends his efforts defending him and villainizing the parents that complain, to anyone who will listen. Is THIS how minor hockey is supposed to be?? NO!
Now, to the guy who compared MDP to MM, yes they are both volunteers, that is where the similarities end. MDP is driven by development and has developed so many players to move on to the next level and NEVER holds anyone back. If you don’t like him, you know nothing about coaching. If you have a personal quarrel with him, that’s your business not a reflection of his coaching ability.
Simply, respect and support the volunteers that deserve it. Stop giving the ones who don’t, teams year after year. We can do better as an association and hockey community.
