JC should probs go back to his age group. Kids this age have caught up to him.
Very true. Really only notice him now in our games against the weaker U12 teams.
You two are delusional or just simply jealous of his skill and that your kids are warming the bench watching him play. JC maybe be small but he is still more than capable of playing up a level. Give your head a shake. The entire league knows who he is because he led the entire league in scoring last year. Sure maybe he scores more against weaker teams but that applies to all good players. The better teams just have more skilled players to pay attention to him. There is not a team in this league that isn’t game planning for him and a few of the other kids on the team. Stop posting nonsense. It makes you look petty.
Ok Dad
That is all you have to say? Thanks for just admitting the statement is essentially true. Well done. Like I said stop posting nonsense and making yourself look petty. Nothing good comes of it.

ST coaching a team - run for the hills, MP coaching minor midget is a disgrace .
Seriously???? What a joke.
U14 thru U18 is so bad not one good pick in the group. GK you need to start recruiting actual coaches because this list is embarrassing. I guess all the decent players will head on down to Quinte now. GK might as well fold only players playing on these teams are kids or parents looking to add an extra A on their jersey. Shame on you GK not an impressive list.

Of the 49 games the U16 team has played this year they have been shut out 20 times & to make things worse they have won only 5 games!

these kids were not cut lol they are just done with GK.
Snip snip…. It is ok, you will have more fun in AA if you make it
Ok coach you one hit wonder!
Kingston will be just fine this year. Mid pack, big improvement over last years U18 team. Moved out non effective 07's and didn't carry any dead weight 08's.

When the Jr.Gaels step on the ice for the 2024/25 season, they will be putting forward an exciting mix of youth and talent at the younger levels. It's always nice to see the excitement of the kids and parents at these younger age groups until Daddy's get involved with the executive. Unfortunately it's looking like another long winter again in Kingston for our U16 & 18 levels, a lot like last year. It will also be along season for the U13 & U 14 teams. Lots of potential at the younger developing years but as we know, it always turns sour when parents get involved with the executive.
A little history lesson of prior teams. 02 was manipulated by the god of hockey in Kingston at the younger levels, who also happened to be the Hockey Ops Daddy. He finally took his ball and was sent packing. 03 was controlled by the now former President Daddy, ask around how this team got along on and off the ice. Can you believe he is now the Hockey Dev guy? 04 was controlled by the Hockey Dev Daddy snake and the parents. 05 coach becomes the Hockey Ops Daddy and only lasts for a short stint! Now a 07 Daddy takes over the Hockey Ops position. 06 was controlled by the VP Daddy and that team had a lot good young talent but under achieves.07 Hockey Ops Daddy & Hockey Dev Daddy snake take over. 08 what can be said? What an absolute disgrace! 09 Again what else can be said? T-shirt coach is/was in way over his head. Now he is off to destroy the development of the U14 group.10 Daddy coach with a ton of hockey experience. Won red hats at AA last year but there is a lot of question marks there also. 11 now we have Mr.T-shirt and it's going to be along cold winter for our group. Didn't two kids leave us? Why? 12 HL guru coach who needs to be mentored and is also in way over his head. Heard lots of kids went to play AA? Why? 13 VP Daddy, Coach packs it in before the season even starts. Why?
Interesting enough wasn't the (04, 06 & 08) to have teams with a lot of potential & talent at the younger levels? Should be noted that the same Head Coach coached all three of these teams at the U16 level.
Coaching? Parent Involvement? Executive controlled by parental influence? Common theme? Hopefully the new Hockey Ops guy can convince more experienced and respectable coaches to coach in our organization? The pinnacle of any AAA organization is the U16 year, many kids strive to play at this age group but over the last few years kids have left because of a variety reasons. Again, Why? Is it the coaching? Is it the Daddy executive making poor decisions? Is it the parents controlling the executive? Common theme again, year after year? Is a non parent executive the answer?
When/if/hopefully will our organization be taken over by another local association and put on the right path to success? It will only benefit all minor hockey in this city with the potential to be successful. This city deserves so much better from the top team in this city all the way down to minor hockey.
Good Luck to all teams and enjoy the long weekend. Parents, enjoy watching your kids grow and develop because it goes by very fast!
