every sport is a cash grab. not every kid gets to attend brick. it's for kids who worked hard all season. so yes although it's just a tournament, its one that you can say you worked hard and earned your spot.
Please stop spreading false information. How is the Brick tryout any different than other tryouts. Can you confidently state that the best kids in the age group are always selected in this tournament?
There are several reasons kids won’t play in this tournament. Family vacation when school is done, commitments to other sports in off season. Some schedule for this tournament, but others do not.
