OHF Opening borders??

I wonder if "super teams" could be created like the Chicago Reapers in the province? Set up a roster of boys from all over, leave the skill and development up to the parents at home, meet up in games on the weekend and have fun.

It is ridiculous that kids have to be courted or invited to “birthday skates” 9 months before the next season begins.

My son is 9, there is a kid in his school his age that now is on his 4th different minor hockey team coat!

Having been around both the G and the OMHA, I can tell you that G parents are way more crazy!
100%. All G parents think their kid is the next one. Please when speaking to a parent in the G make sure to acknowledge the talent of their kid how well he is suited for the NHL.
You have got to be kidding me. We live at the border of OMHA and GTHL boundaries. My kids have always played in the G. I cringe when I have to play up against any teams outside of the G. Parents are completely nuts at the rink. It’s an embarrassment. Any good talent coming from outside would be here already with a few exceptions. I agree open borders so if you don’t make an AAA centre then you can go to another one instead of being forced into AA.
Dripping with G parent arrogance. Like someone said earlier, G parents are way more crazy.

People already think there is too much politics in minor hockey. Who would run the teams, make sure they are the best coaches, players? Still would not be impartial, kind of like the Brick team selections.
