Why would anyone go to Elgin when Chatham is clearly the superior team with better coaching? EMC will get worse.
Once a non parent bench staff is in place the vibe will change.
Whoa! Are we admitting that there might be an issue with the parent coaching at EMC?

Chatham is the team to beat. With open borders, they'll secure a top forward at the very least. Any other movement will depend on coaching and recruiting. People are already talking and looking to get out of Canucks among other orgs.
Go through the list of EMC parent head coaches and tell me who’s kid isn’t the top scorer and doesn’t have the most minutes on the team. They get the most minutes and play on a line with the best kids. This isn’t good for any one long term and is why organizations like Chatham work. The facts are all available
HS is carrying that team. He deserves all the ice time he’s getting. Long term he needs more skilled players to play with and this is why open borders is a good thing. He’ll have the ability to go elsewhere or better kids can go to EMC.

Whatever Hope has done in Chatham is definitely working.
You just identified your problem. One kid is carrying the TEAM then you didn’t develop the rest of them properly. That’s what Chatham is doing, they are focused on developing an entire team of kids for the team sport they’re coaching.
This makes sense, it happens at every age with EMC. Does anyone hold the coaches accountable?

He’s not “carrying” the team. All of the players on elgin are very good. Other teams are also doing great this year. They are all starting to push each other to be better.

Both can be true. EMC has talented players, but right now, HS is carrying the team. Most teams have a player or 2 that are carrying their team this year. Just the way it is at this moment.

Add Smiley from Brantford to that list. He's been on fire so far this season!

This team would be strong!
You mean the player that only gets added to spring teams because Vrebuggen wants him there? laughable
Stop. The kid makes every team cause he's a good player. Good enough for BOB

SV just gives him a free ride on every team. Not his fault
Wasn't it his Mom that was giving the free rides? That's what the word is in Elgin.
Waterloo push around the tiny frwards once again?
Yes. I mean we aren’t very good and our boys beat them handily Friday.

Seeing their tiny kid net front is hilarious
BOB tryouts cancelled?

Team was picked weeks ago. Move on. It's the 'who's friends with EMC team'.

Heard it was a struggle to get kids to play this year - did they fill their roster?

Borders are officially open.

SO now the questions are: WHO IS GOING WHERE? Who is talking to what teams? What team will lose the most players?
