On Friday, the Vaughan Panthers hit the road for two exhibition games in Rochester, NY, and what an experience it was! This is the kind of thing that makes being part of the VP’s so special. It’s not just about the games, it’s about the memories we create, the tight knit bonds we share, and the fun we have along the way. Italians may love their food and family, but let’s not forget, we love our hockey too!
Sounds like a blast!
Thats pretty awesome
Who did they play
How do you know they did this
I follow them on IG, they are a very good team for this age group. Nice people and great kids. I try to be a supportive person, just because they aren’t AAA doesn’t make it bad hockey.

All that stupidity to play bottom feeder AAA teams to only come home and get your A$$ whipped by an AA team. We solute you!

U15 AAA team they played. Baaaahhhhhhh!!!!
You're an idiot. Or maybe im the idiot for bothering to look on MHR to see if you were right. But 15U is not the same as U15 dummy. But its understandable cuz your kids house league team wouldn't know how US teams name the age groups.

USA is watered down and a ton of AAA teams are not AAA but what is the Sens or Nats not AAA let’s face it . Good on VP I think it’s great experience for the players doing the 2 games in Rochester padded there MHR status . VP lost today to a decent team VR and now maybe VP parents can calm down with there’s no competition out there lines .So Oakville Classic is the big tournament now who’s winning it ? Rangers have lost everything as far as tournaments go and VP is in SS finals so can a GTHL team win Oakville Classic ? St really hurting lately full team so no excuses there lost to HH looked really bad new coach just isn’t doing anything there it’s obvious. Remember ST won Oakville Classic last year this year well not much happening there playoffs maybe a stretch for ST at this point!

Pretend all you want moron. The U S.A. hockey system is more watered down then our hockey here. You still didn't explain why you came home and lost to a AA team. Keep living your dream through your kid dumbass.

No need for name calling. I think we can all agree that the 2009 age group in the GTHL is water down at all of the levels. The is a pretty noticeable disparity from the top teams to them bottom teams of the age groups in all of the brackets.
Not that there is any need to explain or validate anything, VP has chosen a path of encouraging their young men to appreciate the journey they are on, coupled with different life experiences . The team got to bond over a full weekend, riding on a team bus, they played some great hockey on an NCAA arena against n equally talented Rochester team. The parent group from VP and Rochester socialized before and after both games, the coaches and the teams mutually respected each others abilities.
As for the VP loss, VR played and won, good for VR they played well and won. VR winning doesn't take anything away from VP enjoyment over the season they are having and the experience the team benefits from along the way with their great coaching staff, team mates and families.
Best wishes to you all over the holiday season.
2025 is definitely poised to be a fun packed start for VP with many more experiences to come.
