Amazing. Practice is very important but if you get no opportunities to play. Keep practicing and warming benches buddy. I’m sure it must feel better to justify your kid playing 3 shifts a game. Must be doing wonders for his development.

Mid-bottom teams aren’t rolling lines either

Any coach like that has no intention to develop his 3rd line kids nor is he a good coach. He’s pleasing the parents of his top liners so they remain committed. There are a couple of these coaches and parents know who they are. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

What team do kids play this little?

Top 3 for sure. They all have 2/3 kids in this category

Depending on that particular game situation… tie game going into the third.. who is on the ice? …. Down 1, going for the tie…. Or up 1 and getting the W….. it’s not that simple on who plays 3-5 shifts a game…. The games are generally getting tighter, so that analogy makes sense… blow out games, players that generally don’t play PP or PK get a chance… this is what you have to think about moving forward… can you make a difference on another team or not… if you can, make the move.. research a good coach, group, etc… or stay and make the best of it if your not a cut…
