2012 GTHL 'A' DIVISION

NT and TR are slightly ahead of the pack, ARD and LF look to be neck and neck to win the regular season. But anything can happen with still 1/3 of the regular season to go.

I think we're fortunate here in the U13A division to have somewhat of an equilibrium where any team can win or at least be competitive any given game, whereas many other divisions are somewhat lopsided. I've really enjoyed coming to the games and haven't really noticed anything obnoxious in the stands or on the ice. That said, what I want for Christmas is more consistent referees!

Looks like we'll get traffic from AA with the EE team hitting rock bottom with 0 points. With hitting starting in U14 some of the smaller kids will look to move to A.

Additionally, I've heard of a few A teams looking to make (parent) cuts.

Lots of movement for sure. What's the scoop on January birthday skates?

Cant see many of the EE move down to A with the merger of Don Mills and VV happening. There will be another AA team with VV. One kid on EE will be gone to a contending team for sure. The rest will continue to wait for a growth spurt in the off season and stay in the division. It’s a pretty large leap to move from A to AA especially onto a decent team. I can’t even see the ducks kid moving up. Also, even though there’s hitting next season in AA, you still need the skill and skating along with puck sense to play.
