Which association putting limits on the amount of outside players allowed ?
Aurora has already said NO LIMITS, apparently NM and SC have put limits, but that's all rumors at this point.
Anyone heard who applied, coaching wise to which teams. I would imagine there wont be much change.

there is no limits anywhere for the right players.
If two kids are close, they will go with the local kid.

Above is exactly AMHA .. yes, a bias towards local Aurora kids. Ideally, the entire team is from Aurora including coaches, volunteers, board members and players. We will need to evolve and complement teams where talent and top coaches are needed. Hopefully in very few cases. AMHA is uniquely rooted in a thriving hockey community and will prevail with Open Borders just like it has without Open Borders.

Judging by the rest of the thread, it has not prevailed...................
Anyways, teams should be taking the best coaches and players, no matter where they are from, that's the point of Rep hockey, however, some communities will still have limits as too many imports may cause them to lose their ice discounts.

I wonder how many rep teams we'll lose due to poor coach selection next year. CS is really putting his stamp on Aurora hockey
Those that put restrictions will change there rules next year. Gthl has teams who have subsidized they take the best players they can get they don’t lose no funding.
