cash grab for the next few months as no AAA teams will be making offers until they see what's out there from outside the GTA.
If you have money to burn its still a good option to train and skate with better players but most coaches are waiting for the trees to shake.

alot AA players out at the Sens and Nats skates, they all looked like select players including my son...and to think these are not even mid pack teams

What exactly do you consider midpack teams? Nats, Sens, TRW and Titans are the midpack teams. The teams above them are all Top 10 teams in Ontario. Lot of skill on the teams you mentioned, unlikely that more than one or two AA kids make any of those teams.
