I don't know that it's a "HUGE upset" when the 2nd place team beats the 1st place team. But certainly a big win!
The top 5 in the standings are all super close. Gonna be a great ending to the season!
I would say top 7. Of those anyone can beat anyone on any given day. Agreed that it will be a great second half and playoff run.

Kennedy tournament may be the fiercest competition since the Brian Steele...

- FH
- Eagles
- Sharks
- Avs
- Kitchener
- Lorne Park
- Applewood
- Lightning

Then your usual suspects...
- Willowdale
- NYK
- Panthers
- Sharks (MHL)

Aeros tournament in 2 weeks:
- VRE, Aeros, LF, George Bell

Honestly, who cares? Unfortunately with no more checking, tournaments are just the same teams over and over with a few changes. Even away tourneys are. Yawn. My kid is having fun, good team and good enviroment...so whatever, that's all I need to be concerned about.

But if I was choosing I would have much rather that he was playing AA these last two years for the competition and variety of competition.

You're the reason no discussion can happen on this board, dumb reply.

I said I would rather have him in AA simply because it's more varied competition. Not because it is AA, if A was no checking everywhere then it would be fine but GTHL is the ONLY league anywhere in North America that doesn't have it at A level. In my opinion that is unfortunate and leads to boring tournaments where you see the same teams over and over the last 2 years.

No idea what TR has to do with anything. Good luck, be more positive, maybe form an opinion or add to a discussion or simply dont't. Have a good day.

Well said.

Tournament is a tough one for sure. Any one of Eagles, FH, Sharks or Avs can win it. Outside of that I don't see anyone else surprising.

TR 7 - 8 AVS

Avs > TR

SIR 4 - 4 TR
SIR 3- 2 TR

SIR = Avs

Eagles > Avs = Eagles > SIR
