We played WW 2 times this year. There best player is a D man and both coaches kids play over him. If Im his family, I would see if I have other optionsGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 4:07 pmGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 3:07 pmOver under on WW kids leaving is 4Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 2:37 pmIs that why left? Or it’s because your kid didn’t make it!?Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 2:14 pmWhy stay here when it’s controlled by a small inner circle group? You know your child will never be a priority of the coaches kids.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 1:37 pmAny rumours about WW players? Wonder if they'll be able to keep that group together.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 1:16 pm Will OMHA have any relevance once borders open? Hearing any remaining TOP kids are already committed or talking to teams to play in the city next season. Thoughts?
With open borders you now have a choice. I’d be foolish not to explore those options.
If I’m a betting man, 1 kid leaves WW and it’s the kid we all know was going to leave for G from the beginning.
I'm taking the over all day on this one
I say 2.
Generally every AAA teams changes a couple kids every year
2015 AAA

AA parent here.
When do AAA walk-on tryouts start? I’m told the regulations require actual tryouts for all GTHL AAA teams?
Thanks

Re: 2015 AAA
Personally, I am disgusted to see two scores of 14-1 in this loop delivered to the TRW. JRC and DMF should be disgusted with themselves. TRW had to go into XMAS being thrashed 14-1 and then start the new year the same way? When you are up by 5 goals .. pass it around, put forwards on D. We are 20 games in and you do this BS? Disgusting, you know better!
Re: 2015 AAA
Half is on TRW for allowing it to happen. Pick better players and put kids in a proper position to succeed. That organization has major issues to begin with. It used to be the go to org and now it’s a bottom feederGuest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 9:04 am Personally, I am disgusted to see two scores of 14-1 in this loop delivered to the TRW. You’re also right they need to shut it down. I always tell my kid I don’t care if you can score 5 on a dog shit team. That’s not impressive.
Re: 2015 AAA
Sorry, that’s on TRW. You’re in the AAA loop, you need to know the level of competition when you start. If you can’t do your job and build a more competitive team that’s on you. Don’t ask your opponent to adjust for your incompetence. Take it as a learning lesson and build for the future. Sorry if that sounds harsh but welcome to the real world.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 9:17 amHalf is on TRW for allowing it to happen. Re: 2015 AAA
Why would you put your forwards on D?? This is AAA. Keep pushing and practice for the next game that matters!!Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 9:04 am Personally, I am disgusted to see two scores of 14-1 in this loop delivered to the TRW. Disagree. They’re 9. Fun still needs to happen. After all it is a gameGuest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 10:41 amWhy would you put your forwards on D?? This is AAA. Re: 2015 AAA
You are missing the point. The kids have not won a game all year. 22 losses in a row, it is brutal. It is hard enough to motivate kids/families with such a losing streak and now you rub it in with 14-1 wins? The learning lesson had already happen 20 times prior to these 14-1 scores. This is not the real world .. this is youth hockey and 10 year old hockey at that. It is not fun losing 14-1.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 10:00 amSorry, that’s on TRW. 1000% the families are good people too (at least the ones I know). I feel for them. We went through it last year too though not quite as bad.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:03 amYou are missing the point. The kids have not won a game all year. 22 losses in a row, it is brutal. Have some empathy and stop pumping up the score this isn’t a tournament.
Work on shit like it’s a practice. I don’t disagree. If it’s U13 and up go nuts but these are still little kids. Remember, many still sleep with stuffed animals.
