Do their kids call them grandpa or dad ?What’s the average age of the grumpy old man crew. The over under has to be 55

Thank you for siring our the Raiders dirty laundry. Hope you guys can sort out whatever is going on g on there. Your post brings something that does bring up a good point. The hockey culture today isn’t what it used to be. Hockey has now become a big time business with some parents fueling to have year around hockey. Asians are good people with good family values but when it comes to hockey they have created a complete mess. Year around hockey, 24x7 on the ice. For sure coaches see this and a lot of coaches are driven by money and will bring these kids on because it means more money. Most parents who have played hockey or even been here long enough know this is a recipe for disaster but I don’t see things improving until these parents realize that 24x7 on ice does not naturally translate to better players.

Breakdown of Jrc/silver. Money man Gots-man. He buddies up with Oma’s-ta. They lure DE to get jrc. Gots pays DE to build the team around old man club. They use DE to get the BDogs so they can recruit the bdog team to jrc. DE is the puppet and the puppet masters are tugging on the strings. Might workout for them at u10 but this project will be short lived

This was funny but the old grandpas and their young cub sidekicks will still go to JRC for a year until DE realizes that he may get replaced and breaks the news to them one by one. Sorry membership has expired. They will scream, they will shout, the bellies will jiggle the cubs will realize the grandpa club was not for them. They will make calls to TM, they will call VK but no luck. They will then tell Omaha you put us here now find us a place. Omaha will wipe the sweat off his forehead, clean his goggle, pump more air into his system and take a few shots to not feel the pain of walking and finally will get them on to Sens.

I’ll have to hold myself from not laughing when we play Raiders again and pay attn to the grandpas. Out of that group the goalie and one of the forwards is really good. Others are avg tier 1 kids which is not a bad thing but not sure what the big fuss is about.

Seems like a lot of these horrible parents ended up on Raiders Silver. Does Omaha roll with the Grandpa club as well?

it’s possible the raiders silver had some really soft players so JRC could only take the top few. Think of how good Raiders silver would be if they didn’t have the kids they are about to cut.

That is sad. I also heard JRC were bringing in 2 kids from Russia and Finland to round out their roster.

You know what else is sad... the fact that your kid has played in their "development system" for 3 years and the coaching staff doesn't think they are developing at the same pace as other kids in the program and would rather bring in new kids.

Or more likely is you're a pain in the ass and they cut your kid because of you.

Have a big cry, close the door and don't let it hit you in the face on your way out.

Hopefully your child gets a better opportunity elsewhere.
