So. Predictions for the playoffs!!??
It's pretty much clear that WML, FT, ST and MNS will start in the preliminary round. There's a tiny chance that MT will drop and either MNS or ST will jump, but unlikely.
Of these 4 MNS has a 100% chance to continue to first round and WML will not proceed further. ST seem to have better chances than FT but it's not guaranteed. Next games between ST, MT and FT will show mean a lot for them.
TW, TE and HVS will definitely go to second round, so there's only 1 vacant place as of now. Rangers, Beast and Terriers will decide who will take the 4th spot. My bet is Terriers, as it's a good play-off team that can win important games.
Finals will be between TW and TE where TW will probably win.
Don't sleep on MB. Only team to have victories over TW, TE, VR and HVS. Also, have the one of the top goalies in the loop.
TE parent here and the MB goalie that played against us last Tuesday was incredible!!

Any kids making the jump to AAA
I can see 3-4 kids make the jump. That being said on a bottom team.
If any parent thinks there kid is AAA material please wake up and go watch AAA teams play and see if your little Jonny will ever touch a puck or see the ice.
They can go play AAA for the teams that everyone goes to when they don’t make the GTHL in Brampton.

If they do it's only bottom teams, and will be slotted in as a third line guy with no PP or PK time. Tough transition to make that can hurt a kids confidence but a lot of delulu parents out there

Gotta start somewhere. No matter what AAA team you go for in the G or O you will still need to be a skilled player.
But the smart play is pick the coach and not the team. Asking your kid what he wants doesn't hurt either. BTW that Brampton team is better than 5 G teams.

Not next year with open boarders. All the talented kids will move to the G. AAA and AA will be much stronger

It depends on the kid. Kids with no confidence can’t handle that. I see it as a teaching moment, work hard get better and you get ice. If not you warm the bench for the 1st and 2nd line players.

Has anyone heard of new teams forming due to the boarders opening? Should be enough kids to start up a couple more teams.
