The West continues to weaken, take all this for what it's worth, but the West has had 2-3 teams in the SS finals the past two seasons...only one this year. The East now has two teams in the finals and could have been three if two of them didn't both have to face off in Vaughan. Looking at MHR, the East has 4 teams in the top 20. The West are barely squeaking 2 teams in the top 30 (Ended last year with 4 in top 20 - top 22 to be exact). Depending on the outcome you're looking for, one of two things needs to happen. If you want the West to be better hockey with stronger teams, then 2-3 teams need to dissolve. If the goal is to tighten league play, then the Beast need to dissolve.

There is alot of parity in the West this year, with so many players changing teams in the off season.

To say that it is weak compared to the OMHA or the East is not true.

Sure DD, TW and ST could dissolve to make the league better, but that's not realistic.

Look how many dog teams there are in the OMHA?

Why not dissolve the Toros, North Stars and Eagles while you’re at it since they only have 1, 3, and 4 more points than Streetsville at this stage of the season.

Guess you forgot about West Mall below Streetsville too.

The logic of some of the parents in this loop is astounding.
