Did you read the last sentence? So quick to comment, that's why there is some many issues with parents and coaches. Think before you speak.
It's funny that you don't mention how non Brick kids try out for top 4 teams every year and get cut because they aren't good enough. Like your kid. That's a much better indicator. Its very obvious you've never played competitive sports in your life and ignorant opinions like yours are the biggest problem in youth hockey.

Let’s be honest, if WAYNE was playing on your son’s team, you would accuse his Dad of paying off the coach for ice time, his mom with sleeping with the goalie’s mom, or talk s.hit about how he is a puck hog. Then you would probably say his grandma is 4”11 and that he is going to be to small and skinny to play the game, he will get killed “when really hockey starts”.
All the people that talk smack about others and project their future have kids who are just not that exceptional and it eats them up inside. They come on here and hope that their tactics will have a negative effect on the competitors that are currently out shinning Johnny. Usually the most smiley and nicest parents to your face and the biggest scum bags behind the scenes.

Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
So so so true. Parents who can't handle the fact that their kid isn't a very good hockey player. Every team has them. Hidden cancers who always comment about how top kids really aren't that good or will have a limited future when the fact is these kids are 10x better than their own kid will ever be and that eats them up inside. The same parents often talk about how good their kid will be when they have the magical growth spurt that seemed to have eluded mom and dad, and how its inevitable that one day they will magically develop athletic ability that eludes them now. It's always the coaches fault or some kind of team conspiracy why their kid isn't a top player. This gibberish makes them feel better but it doesn't fool anybody.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 11:19 amWell the coaches that buttered up his dad and got him to sign the card.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 10:46 am Gretzky was only good because he played on top teams

The truth is these people have kids who are entering their final year(s) of AAA hockey and they know it. The desperate talk is just the death rattle before AA becomes a reality.

Gretzky played 4 yrs above his average group when he was 6. Don’t ever compare any kids now to what he was as aminor hockey playerGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 11:19 amWell the coaches that buttered up his dad and got him to sign the card.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 10:46 am Gretzky was only good because he played on top teams
