Does anyone have any insight/information for the Scarborough Young Bruins? Apparently they are recruiting heavily and have committed quite a few AAA players for next year. Any insight into the coaches, their program, etc.?
Im doubtful that the second last place team is recruiting a "Few" AAA players.
They looked like they were going to be a strong team this year. Something just isn't clicking. Not sure if it's chemistry or coaching. But they should've been doing better then what they are currently doing. Not sure how well the team will hold up after the playoffs. Apparently lots of parents are looking elsewhere.

Watching the Oakville tournament and was able to catch a few AAA games , not a single kid in AA would make the jump to AAA , the intensity and speed of AAA is only getting better , faster and stronger.
If you are all mad at ice time in AA , let me tell you if you by fluke make AAA your kid might get 2 shifts max.

They had strong kids lined up in the summer but they all bailed before the season. Coach got left with his d in his hand. Thats my understanding of what happened.

That’s cute. There are plenty of interchangeable mid AAA and AA players. Top 2 or 3 kids on any of the top 5 teams could easily fill a second /third line role on mid to low place AAA teams. Sure they wouldn’t be the top on any other then TRW but they could slide in without any negative implication to the teams.

Good way to try and scare off the AA kids from little Johnny's spot on AAA

The point was if your not getting ice in AA you can guarantee not to get it in AAA , should you find your way on a team after paying for your spot.

Who the f would go from not getting ice in AA to AAA. That’s a stupid comment. If you’re not getting ice in AA. A or select is where you end up. Or keep sitting on bench in AA.

Just wait until little Johnny who started skating at 18 months and is small and fast gets to U14 and gets rocked by a former AA kid who now has 4 inches and 50 lbs on him. That’s when real hockey starts!

I was in Oakville this weekend too. AA players are so far behind AAA it's not even funny. Completely different game. AA is filled with A and select players. AA is an absolute joke currently. Could kids develop and progress? Absolutely but the level is embarrassingly low across the board.

So was I. Sure some players are super advanced. But 5 kids per team max. Their 1-3 kids on AA that could move up on most team and you wouldn't know the difference.
