Whoever wrote this is either a complete moron or talking their book - new flash to all you deranged sick in the head people NO ONE who matters cares where a kid is at when they are 9 or 10 years old - it plays a 0% weight on evaluation at the age where it matters - Brick is a good experience and there are some amazingly talented kids who participate but it does exactly nothing to help a player move to a higher level latter in their journeyGuest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 12:16 pmNot a joke .. you want to play sport at the elite of the elite level .. go to the Brick. Your network will change, your status in the hockey community will change, your kids leadership values will change, your kids work ethic will change, your understanding of minor hockey and paths to the NHL will change. The Brick is where it starts, you miss it, both you and your kid will have a massive massive uphill battle to become Elite.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 9:43 pmCode violation. section 213 - R.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 9:33 pmit was obviously tongue and cheek you inbreed retardGuest wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 8:49 pmThis is either a joke or this guy is literally the dumbest parent this side of Jesus.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 6:02 pmAre you kidding me? The chance to get your kid on a Brick team is everything in Minor Hockey. You get to have your kid know as a 'Brick' kid. With this distinction, Brick kids will be captain of their AAA teams, free skates with best trainers, priority to provincial teams, get the powerplay time. The distinction is often carried right to draft year in OHL or scholarship to Div 1 School. Literally, being a Brick kid will set you up for your entire minor league career. An easy ROI on $10K.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 4:01 pm Can someone explain why all these parents are going so crazy for the Brick? I really don’t understand the appeal to spend 10k+ to go to a tournament in a mall for 9/10 year olds….

Why so angry? I agree with the above's assessment.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 1:52 pmYou must be one of those parents who called every team and was passed over , you know nothing about this loop at all , you sound like you just read all 900 + pages and formulated a post. Or you are a parent cut that is as salty as they come. Lucky it's open boarders and you can go to the omha where the competition will be just the right slow speed for your boy.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 1:11 pm DMF - strong recruiting (borderline harassment of players)
NATS - needs a rebuild. Starting to fade end of year. Parents are embarrassing.
JRC - no real change.
TM - mid tier team. No changes. Strong recruitment.
VK - nothing of importance. Historically idiot parents. This year will be no change.
REPS - very overrated, team is falling off huge with minor wins against TRW and MM. Coach seems to be genuine person, but parent grumblings of lack of instruction show how green this coaching group is. Will drop next year.
NYR - Lindros taking over. Will destroy yet another age group, especially forcing his two kids on the team.
TRW - complete rebuild. Apparently this is a team to watch. Good recruiting from top AA.
Rebels - no changes. May have two spots with those girls moving to all female teams.
MM - falling off as can be seen by TT blowout yesterday. Parents in crisis and upset with coach for overplaying his nephew. Expect to be a bottom feeder.
TT - complete rebuild with new coach nobody knows.
Sens - weak program. Will stay that way.

Is Lindros actually taking over the NYR team or is this just another MHT rumour?? What’s your source??
Re: 2015 AAA
There goes MM parents with excuses as to why they lost. Get over yourselves, you got beat because your just not that good. Puck hogs, penalties, no back checking, crazy screaming parents, etc... that combo makes a terrible team. WAKE UPGuest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 10:13 amTT does have a new stud but it’s legal.
Re: 2015 AAA
Exactly. At least some of you get it. Brick isn't everything at this age group it is the only thing. You want believe when you get older how often you are asked whether your kid went to the 'Brick' or is a 'Brick' kid. That immediately changes the conversation and reshapes the thinking of a coach or scout. Ties and close calls will always go to the Brick kid. He knows what 'elite' really means .. along with the parents.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 2:09 pmGuest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 12:38 pmPretty sure he’s only 12 stillGuest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 12:34 pmName the all time points leader at the Brick and what’s he done since? Re: 2015 AAA
Big time loser, if a scout evaluating a U16 player of interest inquired if that player participated at Brick as a 10 year old he would be back at the bar and not at the rink because no one would give him a job, unreal someone could be stupid enough to write that commentGuest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 4:50 pmKeep telling yourself that.
